Gunz41
I know hindsight is 20/20 and this we should have drafted him is done every year and it is frustrating we didn't draft that guy. This is somewhat like that, but a little different. Just using the last 3 drafts, with the draft position the Browns had, who would you have drafted. Remember if you take someone with the original pick, then don't have the traded assets. Reason I am asking, is say you really liked Wentz and Jalen Ramsey, can't have both. So how would you maneuver the draft to make the best team in your mind
TexasAg1969
Easy as pie. Find out what the Browns are doing and do the opposite. Can't miss.
SissyBoyFloyd
I'm too new to answer that ? However, I do believe in not reaching, whether qb or other. You take the best players available at any position. And this year, like many, the best player available at 1 is not a qb. A team needs a Prime Objective. And that is always, under all circumstances, to get TBPA. If any GM or coach ever ignores the PO, it is grounds for immediate expulsion. The long term success of team is what is paramount. Prime Objective....or Prime Directive. Maybe you need to put this post in the Star Trek thread.

dawg2fan
Why does it seem like everyone knows who the better pick will be after the fact. If you poll everyone on this board and ask who will the Browns pick, you'll get many different results. The GMs had to go with their best picks and consider who will be available in the future. They didn't think they would be gone in 2 years (like many of our coaches). I've said it before and I'll say it again, we shouldn't have had more than 4 coaches since '99. This team would have been much better. I know what you're going to say, so go ahead and let me have it.

It's a matter of record for us regulars. The Browns have just been really. Really bad at drafting, no way around it. Coaching stability helps true, we are going that route now ... just changing the picker ... again... hopefully he picks better than the average yahoo on here. At least with TR/Barkley....there was a lot of suspected quality talent involved....even if in the case of TR it ended up being disappointing. With Hogan.....? There is no rationality whatsoever.
