Interesting picks on that first one Tour.  A few questions. Was Sony Michel still available when you took Johnson? What kind of grade did Johnson get? Same question on Marcus Allen. What grade? I'm just not all that hot on him in the second round over other safeties so just curious.

I wasn't clear, but both the above were picked by the sim while I was playing as one of my two teams in the Browns Board Draft.

I have drafted both before tho in the 2nd round. Near the top of it Kerryon gets an A or A- and mid-round Allen gets an A.

Oh god only 36 more days of mock drafts. :o

But it will be fun, we'll get by, the Indians will have almost a month in on the 2018 regular season.

Me playing Denver the Browns take

#1 Barkley

#7 Josh Allen (I took Darnold for Denver @ #5)

2-1 Arden Key DE/OLB LSU (computer does not remember Mingo apparently)

2-3 Carlton Davis  CB Auburn

3-5 Trenton Thompson DT Georgia (and Sony Michel went on the next pick to S.F.)

3-13 Scott Quessenberry C UCLA (And Nick Chubb 3 picks later to the Jets (damn stupid computer)

3-22 Kylie Fitts DE/OLB Utah

7-1 Auggie Sanchez ILB S. Fla.

In the meantime how the hell did this computer give me an A- overall for Denver when not one of my picks was that low? I had 7 "A+" picks and 3 "A" picks and addressed all identified needs. Something wrong with this program.

Your score is: 22326 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 5:  Darnold, Sam, QB, Southern California (A+)
Round 2 Pick 8:  Price, Billy, C/OG, Ohio State (A)
Round 3 Pick 7:  Averett, Anthony, CB, Alabama (A)
Round 3 Pick 35:  Settle, Tim, DT, Virginia Tech (A+)
Round 4 Pick 6:  Smith, Braden, OG, Auburn (A+)
Round 4 Pick 9:  Dickson, Michael, P, Texas (A+)
Round 5 Pick 5:  Avery, Genard, ILB, Memphis (A+)
Round 5 Pick 23:  Richardson, Will, OT, North Carolina State (A)
Round 5 Pick 26:  Quinn, Trey, WR, Southern Methodist (A+)
Round 6 Pick 8:  Apke, Troy, SS, Penn State (A+)

I don't get this program either ag. I think the bonus is filling needs but i don't agree totally with their needs..Seems if, the guy is off the board next time around they give you the A +plus+. I got your same score, with no trades with Carlton Davis being my 2.3.. and only B+..went Darnold/Chubb/Guice/C.Davis/OT Rankins/M.Gallup,P.Ford,D.Flowers(if Haley wants a FB?we need one, imo) than P JK Scott..

The Trades

Buffalo trades #12, #22 and #53 picks to Cleveland for #4
The Bills are in a situation now where their trade partners are quite limited. If they want to move up for a quarterback — and they clearly do — they’ll have to pay a steep price.

Miami trades #11 and #73 to San Francisco for #9
Seeing an opportunity to jump up two spots and secure a long term solution at quarterback, the Dolphins pull the trigger with Arizona, Baltimore and Los Angeles lurking.

New England trades #31 and #63 to Seattle for #18
The Patriots use their extra second round pick to jump into the top-20 to secure a replacement for Nate Solder. The Seahawks get an extra pick in the top-60.

Indianapolis trades #36 and #140 to Philadelphia for #32
The Colts make a small jump back into round one to secure the underrated Austin Corbett.

Love that draft, but no way Tim Settle will be available in the 4th!

Going thru the entire round the data scatter becomes very apparent, e.g., Denzel Ward falling to 23? Minkah not in Round One?

From what I could gather there are concerns about Ward's size, not many CB's in the league at his weight?

Of course the problem with that draft is it is out of date with the FA trades and acquisitions. Jets are now in #3 for the QB so the whole draft is screwed up for this one. The big question mark that may not be answered until draft night is what will the NYG do with #2. Nelson, QB, Chubb?? Trade out to the Broncos? Who knows. But whatever they do @ #2 changes everything.

I'd love this scenario.  We basically trade Bradley Chubb for McGlinchey, Hurst and Hubbard, though not sure I'd go with those exact guys with some of the other names on the board.

Especially McGlinchey... still too high for him. And the fumble frequency info has put me off the Michel wagon. Agree on Ward... 5'11 may not measure up, but a 39" vert makes up for it.

Had the BUF trade-down scenario pop up in a sim this AM. It was far from my highest score, but overall it is my favorite draft..

Your score is: 21127 (GRADE: A-)
Round 1 Pick 1:  Rosen, Josh, QB, UCLA (A)
Round 1 Pick 12 (BUF):  James, Derwin, SS/FS, Florida State (A)
Round 1 Pick 22 (BUF):  Vander Esch, Leighton, OLB/ILB, Boise State (A-)
Round 2 Pick 1:  Chark, DJ, WR, LSU (B)
Round 2 Pick 3:  Rankin, Martinas, OT, Mississippi State (B-)
Round 2 Pick 24 (BUF):  Ragnow, Frank, C/OG, Arkansas (B+)
Round 2 Pick 32:  Brown, Tony, CB, Alabama (A-)
Round 4 Pick 14:  Lewis, Tyquan, DE, Ohio State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 22:  Ford, Poona, DT, Texas (A)
Round 6 Pick 1:  Jackson, Justin, RB, Northwestern (A+)
Round 7 Pick 1:  Scott, JK, P, Alabama (A+)

Not only the fumble rate with Michel, but his age too.  He's over two years older than Guice and Jones.

Here's the carry to fumble ratio for some of the top RB's: https://www.footballcouchscout.com/copy-of-qb

Ronald Jones, EXCEPTIONAL ball security, 207:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Saquon Barkley, VERY GOOD ball security, 193:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Kerryon Johnson, VERY GOOD ball security, 191:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Josh Adams, VERY GOOD ball security, 174:1 carry/fumble ratio.
John Kelly, ABOVE AVERAGE ball security, 123:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Royce Freeman, ABOVE AVERAGE ball security, 114:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Rashaad Penny, ABOVE AVERAGE ball security, 106:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Darius Guice, AVERAGE ball security, 100:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Nick Chubb, BELOW AVERAGE ball security, 98:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Bo Scarbrough, BELOW AVERAGE ball security, 96:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Mark Walton, BELOW AVERAGE ball security, 90:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Nyheim Hines, BELOW AVERAGE ball security, 87:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Akrum Wadley, VERY POOR ball security, 67:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Kalen Ballage, VERY POOR ball security, 66:1 carry/fumble ratio.
Sony Michel, VERY BAD ball security, 54:1 carry/fumble ratio.

I don't really know that Ronald Jones 207:1 ratio is that much more exceptional than Barkley's at 193:1...

They are both exceptional, I would add Johnson's number as well. There isn't that much separation between them.

good looking draft haul. Not familar with Ragnow at G nor C but we did just resign Reiter at C(spotrac).Tony Brown is a good value pick as a late 2nd rounder.TB looked great in combine drills.Draft Tracker compares him to Johnson Bademosi. not with them on that, but a 6 footer at 198 that runs a 4.35 40's..I'd say G.Williams has a nickel package for T. Brown

I could not resist Ragnow there... while thought of primarily as an inside guy, at 6'5 he actually can play OT as well. Plus I think he'd push Reiter very hard for the starting job. Pared with Rankin who can play OT or OG, the OL flexibility depth would be off the charts.

Both of the BAMA corners, Averett as well as Brown, get a lot less respect than they deserve, IMO. While not elite, both measured well at the Combine, can cover and, since they played for Saban, you know they can tackle.

If you can think of a medium phrase to put between "exceptional" and "very good", I'll edit the post.

Barkley just isn't on Jones' level.B)

If we draft Vita Vea high after trading Danny Shelton for a bag of footballs I want Dorsey fired immediately, don't even let him finish the draft

Vita Vea is better in every aspect of football than Danny Shelton, so I wouldn't be confused if they picked him.

Had a tough choice of Vita Vea or Derwin James at that pick, though.

Funny thing is I didn't even realize Denzel Ward was still available until pick #22.  Must've been half asleep.
