Here is more NFL Playoff history trivia.    Try to answer.   These include historical matters plus some relating to this year's performers:

1. A. Of the 8 teams remaining in the playoffs....which one has best postseason record in history...won/loss percentage?

B. Which one has the worst?

2. Of the remaining 8 teams, name the only ones that won a "Pre-Super Bowl" championship.

3. A. Of the remaining 8 teams, which one has played in the most Super Bowls?

B. Which one has played in the fewest?

4. Of the 8 remaining teams, which ones have never lost a Super Bowl game?

5. Of the 8 remaining teams, which one has lost the most  Conference title games...leading up to the Super Bowl?

6. There have been 6  Double Overtime games in playoff history.  Name the only home team to ever win a double OT playoff game.  (5 of the 6 have been won by the road team)

7. Of the 8 remaining starting QBs in this year's playoffs.....which ones have previously won a Super Bowl?

8. Of the 8 remaining starting QBs in this year's playoffs...name the one that had previously started a playoff game for his team...but then went to play elsewhere before coming back to this team to start another playoff game.

9. Which of the 8 remaining starting QBs in this year's playoffs....was an undrafted free agent?

10. Aside from the one that is the answer to #9....which of the other 7 starting QBs was not drafted by the team he will be starting with?

11. Who are the only 2 QBs in history to win 4 or more postseason games with 2 different teams? (hint: neither are active)

12. In theory, this year, the Falcons could come back and win the Super Bowl after having lost it last year.  What is the last team to have accomplished that feat?

Titans/Oilers, Eagles

Steelers

B. Which one has played in the fewest?

Jaguars? (None). Saints and Titans have played once IIRC.

4. Of the 8 remaining teams, which ones have never lost a Super Bowl game?

Saints and... Jaguars? (if you don't play it, you don't lose it)

5. Of the 8 remaining teams, which one has lost the most  Conference title games...leading up to the Super Bowl?

Eagles

6. There have been 6  Double Overtime games in playoff history.  Name the only home team to ever win a double OT playoff game.  (5 of the 6 have been won by the road team)

Let's flip a coin... It says Steelers

7. Of the 8 remaining starting QBs in this year's playoffs.....which ones have previously won a Super Bowl?

Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees.

8. Of the 8 remaining starting QBs in this year's playoffs...name the one that had previously started a playoff game for his team...but then went to play elsewhere before coming back to this team to start another playoff game.

Only answer that makes sense here to me is Foles.

Case Keenum

10. Aside from the one that is the answer to #9....which of the other 7 starting QBs was not drafted by the team he will be starting with?

Peyton Manning (Colts and Broncos), Kurt Warner (Rams and Cardinals).

12. In theory, this year, the Falcons could come back and win the Super Bowl after having lost it last year.  What is the last team to have accomplished that feat?

Let's say Dallas in the '90s. I can't think of any in the XXI century.

Answers ....remember...these answers applied prior to the games this past weekend

1. A. Of the 8 teams remaining in the playoffs....which one has best postseason record in history...won/loss percentage?

Patriots were 32-19 (now 33-19)   which is .627...and second best overall to the Ravens

B. Which one has the worst?  Vikings  were 19-28  for .404   (now 20-28)

2. Of the remaining 8 teams, name the only ones that won a "Pre-Super Bowl" championship.

The Eagles won 3 NFL titles:  49/49/60.   And the Tits/Oilers won the first two AFL titles:  60/61

3. A. Of the remaining 8 teams, which one has played in the most Super Bowls?

Patriots have played in 9 SBs.....this is the most of any NFL team.

B. Which one has played in the fewest?

Jaguars...played in none

4. Of the 8 remaining teams, which ones have never lost a Super Bowl game?

Jaguars....play in none, lose none...and the Saints who are 1-0

5. Of the 8 remaining teams, which one has lost the most  Conference title games...leading up to the Super Bowl?

The Steelers have lost  the conf. title game 8 times.  They will not get that chance this year.

6. There have been 6  Double Overtime games in playoff history.  Name the only home team to ever win a double OT playoff game.  (5 of the 6 have been won by the road team)

The Cleveland Browns.  In the 1986 playoff game vs. the Jets.    (all other double OT postseason games won by road team)

7. Of the 8 remaining starting QBs in this year's playoffs.....which ones have previously won a Super Bowl?

Brady, Brees, BR    (now...only Brady left)

9. Which of the 8 remaining starting QBs in this year's playoffs....was an undrafted free agent?

10. Aside from the one that is the answer to #9....which of the other 7 starting QBs was not drafted by the team he will be starting with?

Drew Brees....drafted by the Chargers.   (of course see Q. 8 about Foles circuitious route.)

11. Who are the only 2 QBs in history to win 4 or more postseason games with 2 different teams? (hint: neither are active)

Peyton Manning....went 9-10 with the Colts, and 5-3 with the Broncos

Kurt Warner....5-2 with Rams  4-2 with Cardinals

12. In theory, this year, the Falcons could come back and win the Super Bowl after having lost it last year.  What is the last team to have accomplished that feat?

the 1972  17-0 Miami Dolphins.    They had lost the SB to the Cowboys in 1971...but came back the next year to win it all...the last team to do so.
