domcucch1994
Why not bring in Cousins? Dude will be 30 next year, has played and has been consistent in this league for a few years. Let Kizer develop behind a proven QB like Kirk. Draft Saquon, a good CB, and use the 3 2nd rounders on a WR, T, and LB We need to solidify our oline, get them to open up holes as big as a pornstars vag, so Saquon can hit them, and take us to at least mediocrity in 2018.. 8-8 if we get Cousins, get Gordon back, have a healthy Corey Coleman, and a defense that isn't gassed all the time

Jags. He won't go to Pats....unless Brady breaks his neck and cannot play. He won't go to Steelers....unless the drama queen there actually does retire. (and he will likely pull a Brett Favre...and string out his retirement announcement for 3-4 years) He would want to go to a team ready to win. ..that just needs a QB That would mean Jags, Broncos, maybe Cards....and maybe stay with the Redskins
flyingfooldoug
Jags sounds about right. Why Denver? Don't they have a shiny new $16,000,000 QB they're starting this Sunday? Lol
Bigalow80
What about a trade? The redskins in theory could franchise tag cousins and still trade him. Yes, that would put his price tag at $35 million but the browns could fit that under the cap. The browns could then offer some package of 2nd and 3rds to pick him up. They could play him under the tag for that year, giving kizer time to develop and/or sign him to a deal. Now, the skins would probably want a first rounder but the browns do not have to give it. They have all the leverage, assuming Hue and Haslam don't freak out. $35 is a HUGE cap number and would basically prohibit the skins from signing another FA

When they could just try to sign him as a FA.
Bigalow80
It all depends on what the redskins do. I have a hard time believing they are going to just let Cousins walk into FA and get nothing but a comp pick in return. He's proven, no matter how much you think he is worth, that he is an above average qb. The browns have shown that is a difficult thing to find. The redskins have to also know this to be true. The skins are in mediocrity right now. What's their plans for the future? they have no young qb they are grooming. They sit 3-4 right now and could end up being 8-8 by the time this season is over. They could want to start over or continue with Cousins but they have to make a decision. They could tag cousins, the browns could offer a 2, 3 and Kessler and the skins are exactly in the same position as they were with Cousins. Tour, It's true that Sashi would of protected the "process" by disobeying jimmy and sabotaging the trade, however he'd be directly disobeying his boss if he did that. If jimmy sided with Hue and went against process, it means he might've given up, and if jimmy gives up, the past two years would've been wasted. We have to get rid of either Hue or this F.O. I don't think they can coexist with Hue's daughter talking Sheet and coaches tweeting reporters. Jimmy is in panic mode.

Lemme get this straight. If we fire everyone, then the last two years are wasted? NO WAY!!!!!! BRILLIANT!!!!! How do you live with such inconsistency? 1 hour ago, TexasAg1969 said: And this is what makes a bad owner worse. Can't stand the rebuild then you never should have backed it. The walking contradiction that is our fan base is hilarious. “Cut Gabriel.” “What the heck, whyd you cut Gabriel?!” ”Fire everyone.” ”You pansy, I knew you couldn’t stick with the rebuild.” ”Start Kevin Hogan.” ”WAY TO RUIN KIZER’S CONFIDENCE, HUE!!!” The absolute lack of consistency and critical thinking is embarrassing.
