Stop funding the PLO that rewards terrorists' families "Taylor Force Act"

Twenty-four Israeli mayors representing 450,000 residents of Judea and Samaria have sent a letter to Senator Tom Cotton calling on him to encourage U.S. Senators to pass the Taylor Force Act.
 

The Taylor Force Act defunds the Palestinian Authority (PA) until it ceases payments and benefits that reward terrorists and their families for acts of terror against Israel and the U.S.

 
+ + The greatest threat to "peace" in the Middle East is the all-consuming goal of radical Islamists to eliminate the tiny nation of Israel.
 
The letter from the Israeli mayors states: "If we truly want to give peace and coexistence a chance to blossom, then removing the poisonous message that underlies the need for the Taylor Force Act as a critical first step. The PA should receive the very clear message that the U.S. government will no longer look the other way when terrorists are publicly glorified. By exposing these blatant efforts to influence the next generation of Palestinians away from genuine peace efforts, your amendment actually gives peace a chance to take root."
 
The Taylor Force Act will force the PA to face the consequences of its violence if it does not end this abhorrent practice of funding terrorism.

Before any more "aid" money is sent to the Palestinians to use to fund and inspire acts of terror, the United States government MUST STOP turning a blind eye to these actions that are against international law and are horrifically are unconscionable.

The PA currently gives over $300 million annually to terrorists and their families. However, since the U.S. provides over $700 million of direct and indirect aid to the Palestinians, American taxpayer dollars are providing the funds to reward terrorists who kill American and Israeli citizens!

The Taylor Force Act will cut the supply of blood money from U.S. taxpayers to the Palestinian Authority. If we have any hope for peace, we cannot reward acts of terrorism like the one that tragically took the life of U.S. Army veteran Taylor Force.

"Pay to Slay" must end. The murder of innocent Americans and Israelis must end.

Taylor Force, a U.S. Army soldier "led his platoon into combat on two deployments, one to Iraq and one to Afghanistan —  and he brought them home safely" as recalled by his parents, Stuart and Robbi Force, in an emotional tribute given earlier this week. As told by the algemeiner:
 

"Stuart Force said, 'Our son Taylor was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist in Jaffa, Israel, while walking to dinner with classmates from Vanderbilt University. They were MBA students visiting Israel to interact and exchange with Israeli companies. 

After the terrorist was shot and killed, his body was returned to his family by the Israeli authorities. 'The celebrations began,' Force noted. 'His family immediately qualified for a monthly stipend of up to $3,500 from the Palestinian Authority.'

Fighting back tears, Force added: 'The celebrations heightened when they found out that Taylor was an American.'"

 
The Taylor Force Act, now being considered in the Senate, is named in memory this U.S. Army veteran, West Point Graduate, Vanderbilt student, and Eagle Scout. If passed, the Act defunds the Palestinian Authority (PA) until it ceases payments and benefits that reward terrorists and their families for acts of terror against Israel and the U.S.

We urge the Senate to pass the Taylor Force Act that will cut the supply of blood money from U.S. taxpayers to the Palestinian Authority. We cannot reward acts of terrorism like the one that tragically took the life of Taylor Force.
