Then you should have no right to be represented whatsoever.

You belong to a church, you put money in the collection basket. You belong to the Elks Club, you pay. Bowling league, golf league, you pay.

You belong to your local Republican club, you pay. They bring up issues/candidates to endorse, you vote on them. Majority wins....just like in a union shop.

It's  not really hard to understand.

Then fine, I won't belong to the union. and I won't pay dues. I used to belong to a church. Did NOT put money into the collection basket -

unless I felt like it. I did NOT TITHE, either, because I don't believe tithing is scriptural.

Here's a key part you are missing. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO JOIN the church, or the Elk's Club, or bowling league,or golf league. IT IS ALL VOLUNTARY. So, you are saying I shouldn't have to join your union then? I can go visit any church and not pay one penny. I can visit all year. Probably no membership.

We don't pay one red cent to be in our fantasy leagues. Were you forced to join our fantasy leagues? Nope. and I only joined because they were free. Now, having a job isn't just an elective. You HAVE to have a job.

On another note, lets talk the NRA. I always am a member of the NRA. It costs $40.00. FOR A FREAKING YEAR !

But you don't HAVE TO JOIN.

Now, if I HAVE TO JOIN A UNION, do you realize how much you pay in ONE WEEK? ONE MONTH? and you have no choice in belonging to the union because they SAY SO? It must be tough to understand.

Gee, where's a union where I only pay $40.00 A YEAR? I'm wondering how much you pay in one paycheck. I'm assuming

that is weekly or biweekly.......

benefits? being forced to subsidize a political party you want no part of? THAT "BENEFIT"

Not being allowed to pick up a hammer because I'm a grinder? THAT "benefit"

paying a significant part of my EVERY PAYCHECK to a bunch of high paid union bosses, and

I can't buy a new pickup truck? really. THAT "BENEFIT" ?

Going on a long strike over one extra nickle in my paycheck, because a bunch of the union members

want to go on a big vacation during hunting season? THAT "benefit" ?

nah. don't want those benefits. If the company doesn't treat me fairly, I will decide to join the union. If they do,

I don't want to waste my time being taken by unions, and my money taken from me in dues, and I ain't a going

to join your expensive political boys club. Have a nice day.

Does anybody know the cost of the NFL Union? And is it worth a pint of piss? MOST Unions would never let a company bring in another guy to do a job when there was a guy who was next in line for it.......Meaning what happened in Miami when they brought in Jay Cutler off the streets to be the QB even though Miami had a 2nd string QB, You would think that guy would of got his chance.........

most American workers are in unions for good reasons. to be treated fairly, paid fairly...etc.

but they fund some bigtime anti-American punks on the big screen:

mostly, the AFL/CIO. Teamsters......

The idea of a union is a good thing, Now as for all the union dues, um where is that money going? Like Cal said, To fund anti American all left morons. That is a scam on it's own. If I belong to a union and the dues are funding some Left side hack that I hate and would NEVER vote for.........It is a joke.

Wow. I read a lot of your posts about the "emotional left," which I can usually agree upon. But there you go, doing exactly the same.

My union dues, $65/month go as follows...$0.50 cents to our local AFL-CIO, $13 to OAPFF (Ohio Association ofProfessional Firefighters), $13 to IAFF (International Association of Firefighters). The remaining funds go into my Local (Berea FFs) where we back local little league programs, award a scholarship to a Berea-Midpark graduating senior, donate to the Make- A -Wish Foundation, MDA(Muscular Dystrophy), Berea Welfare, Metro Burn Unit, and in addition, buys our condiments, newspaper, and coffee. We also have a savings account if we need $$ for contract negotiations.

I served 15 years as our local President, never took a dime. Never asked for a dime either...see, unions aren't  so evil afteralll.

Yes ! Back in the day, unions got workers fair wages and tair labor policies, etc. Without that, a lot of us would have grown up

in poverty maybe. But without right to work, unions have gotten so powerful, they do anything they want, spend whatever they want,

and all those little guys who pay their dues just keep working, and paying their dues.

I never said your Firefighter union was bad, Bob. But you defend all unions as a group. I'm not being emotional, I just decided that since you apparently got upset with me talking the bad about bad unions, you'd go ridicule pic. haha. two can play that game.

That you give one penny to the corrupt marxist/communist maniac richard trumpka of the AFL/CIO is a disgrace, Bob. When we walk by Firefighters collecting donations, we always donate. But the AFL-CIO? you can not MAKE me donate even a piece of grass to richard trumpka mafia wannabe somebietch. Should I post more about dangerous, corrupt richard trumpka?

Can you stop that 50 cents going to trumka? or the union says you roll over and pay it, or afl-cio thugs

will get teamsters thugs to break legs?

Spot on Cal. And always have the facts to back up what you say. I grew up in a house where my Dad was a well I wont say what union but from my early childhood on I always heard how great they were and blah blah blah. Well when I got to be like 14 I remember there was talk of a possible strike because they were going to fire a guy for drinking on the job, and showing up to work drunk.........I was like, if he goes to work drunk and drinks on the job he should be fired. My dad was not happy with me, That is when I started to question things and when I decided I was not going to be like dear old dad and never vote democrat like he did.

Ok Bob, that is good but did you ever need the union over the last 15 years? Did they benefit you? Now the way it looks the union dues were going to a good use but that is not always the case and I will even say this is far and few between.

Absolutely I did, and others needed it as well.

You guys read about Lowe's down in Florida? Workers were being told they'd be fired if they didn't  come to work after Irma....that's  why unions are needed.

I grew up with most years - My Dad was in a big union;. We had a great life - fair treatment, solid wages, overtime, vacations,

you know - without the unions, they would never have had those. In later years, it was different. Great living, but there were

union members who wanted to strike for stupid ass stuff because they wanted a big vacation. and the union bosses were making

millions and millions and... things changed. Like my supervisor said - in the older days, it was about fairness. Later years,

it was about GREED, and sending more and more money up the pike to the powerful union bosses.

You don't read posts well, I just said earlier that we always donate to the firefighter fund raisers. Of course unions are needed.

But your blanket support of them is bs, that's all, Bob. Why do you donate to the AFL-CIO? RICHARD TRUMKA?
