She initiated the insult "Gee, I'm afraid to reach for my cell phone...you see you cops kill people...." So, he responds with sarcasm. Ill-advised, after the fact, sure. Nothing more than a sincere apology for the feeble sarcastic joke on himself and his dept .... over the incident. But it will be taken up as a rallying cry by the left. They will exaggerate out their wazoos to the extreme, and talk about how he is a threat to the existence of the entire universe or something.
