UPCOMING SCHEDULE, August 2017, time to pull away in 1st

I find the Royals to be an obnoxious team, and enjoy watching the Indians beat them thoroughly.

I'll be glad to see that team break up after this season.

The Indians are really stomping through the ALC catching fire at the right time hopefully that contains through September and beyond. And 8-2 on any road trip is unreal....as well as the 10 road shutouts. Pitching always rules.

GO TRIBE! Just kick ass baby. ;)

Every time I tune in to a game, magic happens. Walk off on an error tonight. Witnessed the walk off on Saturday night a few weeks ago. Saw the two incredible plays from Urshela in Boston a couple weeks ago. And those are just off the top of my head.

Unfortunately i cant tune in tomorrow.

Cleveland 69 wins a sliding Houston 76 wins, can they gain 7+ over Houston in a month plus? Possible but kind of unlikely.

They're concerned about rain in Cleveland M-TH, oh no!!!

Didn't rain for the freakin eclipse but......

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Big swings in the weather are ahead for Progressive Field this week for the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox.

Tonight's game beginning at 7:10 p.m. is looking like the hottest one this week with temperatures starting in the upper 80s. While a line of thunderstorms is moving through the region now, things should clear out before first pitch, when chances drop to 15 percent. At most a quick shower will manage to pop up.

Tribe fans will want to bring the rain gear for Tuesday's game, as there's still a 50 percent chance of storms at the 7:10 p.m. start time. However, chances dwindle quickly after. Skies will stay cloudy, and watch that Indians hat as winds could top 19 mph at times.

A big cool-down is ahead for the 7:10 p.m. game Wednesday. Temperatures will stick around the low 70s to upper 60s. At most, a random, short-lived light rain shower could manifest, but chances are very slight.

Thursday there's a chance for stray showers in the morning, but right now it's looking like they should taper off in time for the game. I'll still keep a 20 percent chance for now. Temperatures will cool further, starting in the upper 60s later dipping to the low 60s.

Selfishly (and this series notwithstanding), I hope Boston gets the 1 seed so we're guaranteed some games in Texas.

You mean between Houston and Cleveland?   Wouldn't that be cool if the Indians and Astros were playing a playoff game in Houston at the same time the Browns and Houston are playing on October 15th!

Right now I'd take playing HOU over anyone unless CLE gets the top seed then I might like a WC team....but still a month plus out on that.

I agree. Not only did the Indians take 5 of 6 against them, they did it when they were beating EVERYONE ELSE. Plus, the Astros have been a .500 team since sometime in May.

Indians hand Sale his ass again.

Underwood just had an interesting fact: Sale's ERA after tonight's game stands at 2.88. If your remove his two starts vs the Indians this year, it drops to 1.99.

Oh yeah baseball is so predictable Bauer > Sale  and CLE tonight 13 R 18 H after basically getting stumped earlier.

The Indians have a legitimate shot at a second or even top seed, big deal come October.....maybe some are still trying to figure out the new board format.
