Meanwhile in the Points/IDP League...

Defending Champion Campbell's Soupermen won the week and leapt two spots in the standings to stake a tenuous hold on 2nd. A mere 7 points separate the 2nd thru 4th positions. Yours Truly saw his lead roughly cut in half setting up a frantic finish to the season.

In League One action we saw our 2nd playoff spot locked up by Russ G's Rads.

For the remaining two spots... Gerrypotamuses has the inside, "win-and-get-in" track with BoZukas and Denards in close pursuit with both having significant Points-scored margins over the Gerrys.

In the rest of League action... Both Maybe and Zombo's pummeled their opponents in what looks to be a too late push for the post-season while the Mantooths and Mingos spent the week kissing their sisters and producing the league's first tie.

And in the Points/IDP League...

  • Tour saw his lead shrink to 38 points in part due to benching Alex Smith at NYJ (Who knew?).
  • Reclaiming 2nd was Gerrypotamus.
  • While the Soupermen needed some rest after their massive Week 12 showing, they and The Gronks remain in striking distance.
  • And while it will take some serious, sustained heat... Flyin' J and Barry's Awesomes ain't out of it yet.

Man I really over thought my team this week or would be about 34 pts behind you. I benched Antonio Brown in favor of JuJu due to the toe injury. Reports prior to game is he was pretty gimpy and boom he goes off for over 100 and a score 20 fantasy points. Benched Larry Fitzgerald for tough match up and he goes for 22.5 points while Adams scores 5. Overall bad coaching on my part! I am still going to try my damndest to catch you lol

I benched Alex Smith to avoid his downside and only started Kelce due to uncertainty over Olsen's foot.

And in the Points/IDP League... the richest got a lil richer.

TeamTour expanded its lead slightly over The Gerryattricks while The No-soup-for-you Crew stumbled and gave up 3rd place to Big Gronk.

No playoffs here, so three-weeks to go.

And then in League One there were two as the seeds held serve with Team Tour bouncing the BoZukas and Russ G eRADicating the Gerrypots.

Meanwhile in the Points/IDP League... well... basically nothing changed... at least among the top four spots where the week's scores ranged from 126.34 to 129.41... a tight group of which a marksman would be proud.

The week's only position swap came when Flyin' J overtook Barry's Awesomes for 5th place.

In the League One Final Russ G's Rads dominated top seeded Team Touriffic 105-62 to take the playoff crown while the Ballentine BoZukas beat down the Gerrypotomuses 81-52 to take 3rd place.

In the IDP/Points league TeamTouriffic continues to hold first, but big weeks from The Gerryatticks and Big Gronks closed the gap to 2nd and 3rd to within 21 and 57 points respectively.

My Brown Dawgs were not a good team in that league this year, ill-fated drafting of Antonio Brown set the tone, but managed to play well enough at the end to rise to #5.

My Death Dawgs in League IV were a much better team, but were squeezed out of the playoff seedings and finshed #5 also

My teams were 4-0 in the postseason (loser Brackets) ... so there's that.

Thanks....I may not have gotten lucky, but Tour had a tough team who just didn't live up the final week.  You can't factor that if you are him.  All you can do is put your best team out there and hope it works out as you expect.  It could have easily gone the other way.  Great season Tour.

Not Sure if we still have a League 2 or League 3 ... But I have Russ winning League 1,  Why Can't We Win winning League 4, Browns 149 winning League 5,  and Tour winning the points League ... Were there any other Leagues?

If we are moving Forward with four leagues, I propose we make some name changes to make them more identifiable:

League One ... Paul Brown League (Founders League)

League Four ... Jim Brown League (Emphasis on RBs?)

League Five ... Otto Graham League (Emphasis on passing stats?)

Points League ... Lou Groza Points League

Or we can use more "recent" guys like Kosar, Sip, Matthews, Newsome ...  Percy Ellsworth?
