Mr. T Posted April 16, 2009 Report Share Posted April 16, 2009 Okay i said I was not going to go but when it wa just a block away from my insurance agents office, and she mentioned it to me I thought I would go take a look. I saw a lot of of people there along with some of wilmingtons finest donut eaters also. some in uniform and some plain clothes. I asked my buddy why did they plan this T-party right under one of those new digital cameras that the city uses for traffic. hahmmm. he didn't know it existed until i pointed it out, then he said those things are all over downtown. yep wilmington has a big traffic problem on front st. Not! We were talking and he asked if I heard about the Tea party held last week? I said yep but i didn't go. he was telling me of how there was over 1300 people and they marched over to the city council meeting where they were conducting an open public meeting on the new anexation. He also said the crowd was a little roudy after half of them were made to sit in another room and the mayor ordered snipers out on the rooftops of the buildings next door. After witnessing what I saw today I would say a lot of people are pissed off and are not going to take it anymore! Older, younger, moms with kids, old retired veterans, a lot of young people. Had to park about 4 1/2 blocks away. I walked from my car, with an older veteran who lost a leg. He limped a good bit, but said he was from up in Kent and wasn't going to miss this tea party. His son served six years on an aircraft carrier. He said his son said he was defending all American's freedom, and our CONSITUTION. Said most everybody he knew in the service said nobody was going to take our CONSTITUTION away. Nobody. He really knew his stuff, we talked about a lot of things. One thing I learned was, the bitch that is our "homeland security" person in charge? She was Anita Hill's lawyer. You know, the liar who tried to derail a very excellent and decent Supreme Court nominee. One other thing I learned was. Hitler was from Austria. And Soros was, too. Soros was a Jew who cooperated with the nazis, helping them know where all the wealth was so they could take it. You know, the left's financial benefactor. So, if I believed in our Constitution, and our country, and our conservative values, and I had Progressive Insurance, I'd tell them to go to hell and get another insurance company. Seriously. He didn't know about the "civilian defense corps" to be created per Obama's plan. That ticked some people off talking with us at the tea party. A ton of folks knew a ton about our history. They are very concerned. At one point, a reference was made about people who voted for Obama and were shocked at his Un-American actions with spending et all. A LOT of applause came from those who apparently voted for Obama. Some said as much, and they are sick at heart to realize they voted for a liar and a thief and a socialist who disses us at every turn. And everybody was -angry- about being referred to as "possible terrorists" ... It was a very huge networking of Americans who refuse to lose their freedom and don't want to lose our economy. Hundreds of really great signs. One said "We are your employer, YOU'RE FIRED". It wasn't anti Dems. It wasn't anti-Reps. It was anti-socialist deficit spending and overwhelming control being attempted by Congress and NoHonorObama. Canton has a Dem mayor, Dems all the way around. They didn't close off the square. I figure they didn't think many people would show up. Boy, they had to be shocked right onto a toilet. "Holy S^%^", they said, I'll bet. About the time we got there, the crowd was big at noon, when it started. By 1:00, the group was still growing. THEN, they closed down the street with barricades. I never got close enough to see the speakers. Once I saw a speakers hand... @@ Seems to me, that politicians on both sides of the Dem-Rep divide have lost their way via greed, self interest, and pandering to whatever group has the most $$$$ (soros sombeech) and the most vicious dishonest attacks going (liberal leftists). Hundreds of folks were signing petitions to repeal the imposed sales tax hike. I believe, honestly, that it's time for a new political party, one based on traditional family values and our CONSTITUTION RIGHTS, on the valid understanding that we as a nation, are a CHRISTIAN NATION, despite the opposite stated by the traitor in the White House. My guess it, it's time for the American Patriot Party to start up. Our symbol will be a profile of a minuteman, the official hat will be the tricornered hat from the War of Independence, our motto could be "Don't tread on me". Our Founding Fathers created our country under GOD, with GUARANTEED RIGHTS that NO GOV is allowed to take away, nor usurp. I believe there are Dems and Reps who would come to this new party. But they had better be qualified. Lying will be rejected, unlike the Dems liberals, and yes, some Republicans. "Atlas Shrugged", "Anthem", and Mark Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny" are some great books. Soros survived the Holocaust because his father paid a Hungarian government official to take George in as his own son. That official's job involved taking over Jewish properties, and George sometimes went with his faux-father to work. This isn't a case of a greedy adult stealing from his own people; it's about a fourteen year old boy being saved by a man who happened to work for the Hungarian gov't. I don't think that leaves any kind of moral stain on Soros's character. I mean, what was he supposed to do: say, "No, fake papa, I won't go with you. Send me to Auschwitz instead"? It's ridiculous. Soros has said stuff in the past regarding Israel and its responsibility for the recent rise in anti-Semitism in Europe that really pissed me off. Beyond a narrow agreement with the guy on opposing foreign policy interventionism, I don't really have any reason to defend the guy. But if people want to politicize the Holocaust and misrepresent the record in order to to attack him, they're just exposing themselves as fools.
