How can "dropped passes" be measured into a QBs stats?
Tour2ma
Yes, without Brady or Cassell or Vinny, Belichick sucks. Fixed...
Johnny Fingers Farmer
Fitzpatrick won. How can "dropped passes" be measured into a QBs stats? Yeah that's my screw up. When compiling the numbers I saw Fitzpatrick and just assumed he lost, well that and being half asleep. To many variables to determine if a ball was catch-able imo to accurately factor into QB stats. You'd be dealing with things like did the ball hit the receiver in the chest, hands, legs. Was the receiver lead, thrown above, behind, in the dirt, to high/low velocity for the distance or was the ball just thrown away. Then was the receiver defended and that caused the drop or was the ball tipped in route to the receiver. After all that is done you'd have to look at completed passes and factor minus in for catches that shouldn't have been. It's a f'g can of worms
The Gipper
Fixed... No....at best BB can maybe get a team to the playoffs a time or two with the likes of Cassell or Vinny.. Butch Davis did that, Romeo Crennell should have done that. Those may, indeed, be apt parallels.
