Tacosman
defense cant hold forever at this stage in game....this game lost by the missed opps on offense again and again and again and again and again when we either had lead or were down
WalterWhite
Agreed. McCown can barely stand and is obviously hurt. Â I hope Pettine is canned tonight. What a loser and a bum.
browns52
From 20-7 to 20-24.....typical. Pettine, the defensive genius. Lol as i said this team will not win another game this season...big changes a comin again....announcers also said trade rumors on mack and thomas...after that stupid false start, they ought to can his fat arse. bringbackbrownie2
Funny, but Mccown wants to play. He could take himself out if he wanted to...
Tacosman
lets also face the reality that mccown cant stay healthy in games. It is what it is. And that's something to take into account as well. Every single game it seems he is playing banged up. Some of may disagree on just how adequate his 'healthy' performance is, but if he isn't healthy enough that doesn't matter anyways.
Browns1216
poor McCown. He really is giving his all out there, it's just not enough. I'm not a Manziel fan, but it's just not worth risking McCown any more. I feel like he's going to suffer a season-ending injury if he keeps going like this. Tacosman
but his all goes back to pettine's very short term and 'me' view.....he has it in his head that getting to 7-9 or whatever may, just may, save his job. So he will do whatever he can to protect that....even if it offers little longterm hope for the browns. He would literally blow our franchise up if it meant he gets to stay in the nfl another couple weeks. A desparate nobody nfl coach is not good for franchises.... Browns1216
well, at least the first half was enjoyable. defense didn't look too terrible. Now if only the Browns could figure out how to play 2 good halves, we'd be in good shape.
Tacosman
guys, the fact that mccown gets the shit beat out of him every week isn't some random thing. It's not even an indictment of the browns offensive line or whatever. It's solely due to the fact that he doesn't know how to move correctly in the pocket, get rid of the ball, slide at the right time, etc....that play when minter popped him good was because he slid too damn late. Like he always does, Like the jets game. Its mostly his fault.

Tacosman
oh no the blame is never on mccown. Mccown has been a loser every single place he has been again and again and again.....but hes never the least bit responsible. just a total coincidence that in 5 or so different teams he has managed to accumulate one of the worst w-l records in the history of the nfl amongst qbs with that many starts. Browns1216
not blaming McCown, blaming poor schemes (especially trying to run it up the middle on nearly every first down play), inability to adjust to what other teams are doing, stupid penalties and turnovers : (

Yes let's blame the QB for everything. We put in Manziel and you would want to see Austin Davis.. Classic Cleveland dumbass..
