Guest Aloysius
For all the OSU homers out there: Here's a scouting report on Abdallah: Positives: Tall and strong on the nose, able to hold his ground against double teams. ... Fair initial quickness off the snap. ... Stands up his man and keeps his eyes in the backfield to find the ball. ... Uses his hands well when one-on-one, keeping them active to prevent getting stuck. ... Rips off his man laterally to pressure the quarterback or negate the cutback lane. ... Improving hustle and chase during his senior year. ... Has matured significantly on the field and as a leader. Negatives: Not great in any one area, as he does not have great bulk, straight-line speed or strength. ... Loses his balance when trying to change direction quickly. ... Only occasionally gets to the quarterback, typically in "coverage sack" situations. ... Plays with a high pad level at times and will get walked off the line. ... Rarely bull rushes his man into the pocket. ... Just over one year as a productive college player. He's projected as a late round/UDFA type. DawgTracker
He was considered an important signing by OSU but disappointed. But, he does look great in the drills and worth a late pick if we have one. He certainly would be someone you would like to bring in as a udfa, don't think he will be available at that point though. heckofajobbrownie
He's one of the few guys in this draft with real 3-4 DE size. Might be worth a look for a practice squad.
Riffer X
He really came on the second half of the season. He lost substantial weight and turned into a pretty viable force on an otherwise weak OSU dline.

You hit it on the head Rif....He ended up being possibly the Buckeye's best lineman in the second half of the season. Really a nice surprise. He'd be a good late round or FA pick up. I wonder if he'll head home to the Saints if he doesn't get drafted. Clancy is old as dirt. They'll need depth at tackle.
Guest Aloysius
OSU's pro day is on Friday; it'll be an especially important day for Abdallah, who didn't receive a Combine invite. If he can get his 40 on OSU's super fast track below five seconds, it'll do some good for his draft stock.
