Obama IS IN WAY OVER HIS ARROGANT HEAD, and we're all going to pay for his stupidity

(from the UK Telegraph)

**************************************************************************

President Barack Obama just plain rude to Britain. Don't call us in future.

Posted By: Iain Martin at Mar 4, 2009 at 09:41:53 [General]

Why couldn't President Obama have put on more of a show for his British guests? He looked like he simply couldn't be bothered.

Gordon Brown and Barack Obama in the Oval Office

Number 10 may be content that they just about got away with the visit to the Oval Office yesterday, as Andrew Porter reports from Washington.

But on this side of the Atlantic the whole business looked pretty demeaning. The morning papers and TV last night featured plenty of comment focused on the White House's very odd and, frankly, exceptionally rude treatment of a British PM. Squeezing in a meeting, denying him a full press conference with flags etc. The British press corps, left outside for an hour in the cold, can take it and their privations are of limited concern to the public.

But Obama's merely warmish words (one of our closest allies, said with little sincerity or passion) left a bitter taste with this Atlanticist. Especially after his team had made Number 10 beg for a mini press conference and then not even offered the PM lunch.

We get the point, sunshine: we're just one of many allies and you want fancy new friends. Well, the next time you need something doing, something which impinges on your national security, then try calling the French, or the Japanese, or best of all the Germans. The French will be able to offer you first rate support from their catering corps but beyond that you'll be on your own.

When it comes to men, munitions and commitment you'll soon find out why it pays to at least treat the Brits with some manners.

This is funny. But actually, I lived in England for some time. By far the rudest group of people on earth, at least what I have seen of it.

Man you are dumb as rocks. I didn't say that at all, just making a comment. Put down the saber for a second.

Oh grow a sense of humor, ya chronically outraged stooge.

Geez a weeze.

I thought you were some kind of demograpic reading mass marketing genius.

Get a grip on something other than your dick.

I am.

So if you can add some humor to that we can get back to regular conversation.

So tell me (since you said you've figured me out) how I stand on say 5 or 10 issues.

Then tell me how you "market" to me.

(ps how do you spot a marketing major?

He's the guy in Taco Bell wearing a tie. ;) )

Well marketing is about marketing to the masses. I wouldn't market to YOU. I would market to a whole group. I would make generalizations based on data. That was the point of my comment, African-American's vote Democrat, so market to them.

The post on that I "figerd ya out" is upon reading the same posts over and over again. If I had to market to you: The Village People would be in there somewhere.

p.s. I have a Master's from the University of Colorado and not in marketing. I am a web designer, graphic designer, IT manager, web developer, internet marketer, video editor, production manager and an audio engineer in my free time. I don't think I have even EATEN at Taco Hell in years, but thank you.

I dont think that Westside is into the village people culture? Check out his website and listen to some of his music. Its has a lot more class.

Plus Obamaly has his own personal agenda of sticking it to those who have achieved in life, and cant take time out from his plans to listen to a bunch of guys from across the pond who want to cry that the fish and chips are to salty.

Undeerstood.

So to translate:

"No Steve, mostly I'm a computer geek and the marketing thing is, well, bullshit.

Basically I don't have a clue about you, just never thought I'd get called out, and the lefties give me doggie treats if I insult you.

But hey, don't ever think I don't have a sense of humor.

Ahem....

FAG!! Hahahahaha!!!!

See?"

Thanks.

Yeah, because I couldn't even fathom a scenario where a web designer, graphic designer, IT manager, web developer, internet marketer, video editor, production manager would have to be near a computer most of his day. <_<

Steve, hate to break it to you, but one of the most important/well-paid dudes at any ad agency/marketing firm these days is the web marketing guru.

And some aren't very successful, given what they are marketing, and the economy.

I have known web marketing folks in my last assignment, that got layed off.

Obama's disaster is everywhere.

I'm in marketing. Farming. Did fairly well our first year, but should have been

great.

Next year, we will have the whole year learning under our belts. It would have helped

if I'd found the weed sprayer earlier...

I've met Steve. "Village People" ??? Your Masters degree doesn't help you judge people, obviously.

I'm a farmer, intranet corporate software designer/programmer/analyst, technical author, novelist, logger, gardener, explorer, gold miner, have my own pc repair biz, camper, varmint hunter, fisherman of fish, veteran, and a professional guitar and harmonica player.

Well, the latter is only pro because I got paid a couple of cookies at a friends' bbq.

Most all of us have all sorts of roles. It isn't unique.

I think I'll start mushroom farming. Obama probably won't get around to taxing that.

It's just plain silly to blame Obama for anything. He hasn't been in office two months. The NEOCON's will try and shift the blame for eight years of the worst president EVER on Obama. Please give him a chance for the CHANGE he promised. I think you will be surprised. :D

Calm down people. WSS, now who doesn't have the sense of humor? I know everyone is a little stressed out here, take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard. I can't because I am working, lol. Thank you Obama, JK.

Hey that was kinda funny wasn't it?????

I'll paraphrase.

"Well unless the legacy is a real closet case.

Like Fred...."

I agree. But Bush was not the worst president ever. It was the worst Congress ever. The President only has so much control. You just opened up a can of worms for the guys on the board here who would blow Bush. You better be ready.

p.s. I just McCain's daughter the other day, dude I'd tap that.

You know what they say about a team that has two starting quarterbacks or two #1 starting pitchers, right? I think that goes for twenty professions, too.

But Obamanite - it was all well and proper to libs to

say "who cares if Bush was only in office for two months, it WAS ON HIS WATCH"

Oh, but now... "on Obama's watch" won't count for at least three years.

Believe me I will be the first to call him on it. But really, it has only been 2 months.

Keep in mind his "policies" were known well enough by the financial markets (those that count) and that his lead in the polls was practically insurmountable at least six months ago.

And the collapse started in earnest just about then.

You have to at least admit that the problems began when Democrats (who you might admit have a different take on US financial policy) took over.

The market doesn't like those more socialist plans.

Citizens, many of them, may feel differently.

That isn't a moral judgement, just a fact.

I say the markets depend on the investors and the real investors don't like what they see.

You may (as might any of us) but unfortunately we don't matter in the big picture.

This was created in the late 90's when Clinton and a Republican congress deregulated sub prime loans to the bus drivers of the world that wants to buy a $500,000 home. This is not Obama's fault. This would of happened if McCain, Paul, or anyone was elected. Your party affiliation is clouding your judgment.
