hurry up texas boy i'm chompin at the bit to make my pick goshdarnit!

I have a feeling you may end up making both picks after 9pm mik. But you can bet Jerrah is counting on either Gurley or Gordon being there when they pick after letting Murray get away. And if one goes early he may trade up to get the other.

i won't make his pick, i'll leave that to 23

BUT

this is the prob i had last year with this. it's run well but take for instance the person we're waiting on now: he's on here all day long yesterday, sees the picks coming, knows he's coming up and then all of a sudden he disappears from the face of the earth meaning you gotta wait for 12 hours. imagine if that was the case for everyone? i doubt if you would get the first round done before the actual draft.

Oh well, you know, some people have jobs, some people sleep at night. I only actually have the computer at my office to participate...so if I go home, I am not on here. So have patience.

That said, I would say that it would be prudent at this time to list the order for the second round.... So that there won't be any delays if figuring out who is up to bat....on the clock.

You may even want to consider starting a new thread for the Round 2 choices.

most people have the broncs (hate 'em) takin OL or DL. i figure their front office will try to give manning some dynamic weapons in his last hurrah season. all the top WRs are gone by this point, too soon to grab a RB.....

thomas was a big WR who played physically like a TE.

with the 28th pick the broncos pick:

TE maxx williams from the university of minnesota.

And with the last pick of the first round the New England Patriots select (only if medically cleared) Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia. SEC, SEC, SEC! LOL!

Gordon was tempting but he has fumbleitis.

And as the GM I would have been trading down at this point to get a DT and more picks.

new23 - you going to start a new thread for the second round?

Dammit I was hoping Gurley would fall to me (Cowboys). That gay spread team in New England doesn't know what to do with a beast like him.

He won't fall that far and neither will Gordon. You screwed the Cowboys! :P And even though I'm in Texas, I am not a fan of them or the Texans. Go Broncos and Browns!

PS- how about Gurley for your next year's 1st rounder, this year's second rounder and your best DT? Or Dez straight up. Ha! :D

Belichek won't allow a receiver is good as Dez on his squad.

I'm a firm believer in the expendability of NFL backs so I won't lose any sleep on this.

I like the Broncos too. Von was my favorite Ag ever. Only have become a casual Cowboys fan recently as I've really fallen in love with Dallas. I'm from/live in Austin and am absolutely sick of it.

What part of Texas you in?
