The Team of the Decade

Now that the Super Bowl is concluded I can do an update on which team is leading in the "Team of the Decade" race. If you have read these before, recall that my system award points to each team on a 10-6-3-1 basis for each season. ( I do this for each of the NFL/MLB/NBA)

The winner of the Championship garners 10 points. The loser gets 6 points. The losers of the "Semifinal" games or series each get 3 points, and any team that makes a playoff appearance gets 1 point.

Here are the standings for the NFL after the 2014 season. I note the points each team has gotten in a season, then compile the total for the decade beginning in 2010:

No team has won the title two decades in a row. The Pats are ahead and have that chance.
