What a happy coincidence for you.

Good thing I was able to straighten it out huh?

There's 40 players on that list, so even 13 is in the upper 3rd.

What is your point here again?

I'm kidding! Please don't rehash your point.

will most definitely rise after 6 games with gordon back. i predict top 6-7 next season

Well the fact that you have to scour the internet to find ONE measure that puts Hoyer in the top 3rd (when you include all QBs who have 100 passes as 13th isn't Top 3rd in current starting QBs) and even then you have to lie and say he's 8th while switching his name with Romo to make it look better and ignoring the main statistic highlighted in green on that page that puts Hoyer at 25th.....is pretty much my point.

Thats how not good Hoyer is and how far you have to reach to try and argue against it.

i reached absolutely nowhere. (btw, like i said it got all f'd up on my phone and i tried to manually shuffle it back into place, either way who cares) you were posting pointless stats and i did one quick 5 second google search for advanced, adjusted stats for a QB. brian hoyer has the intangibles and makeup of a good to maybe great quarterback.. stats are literally the enemy of sports because of all the autistic black and white Retards in this world. if you're so into stats, his stats will start to show as the offense rounds out into an actual offense capable of winning football games. stats for a quarterback do not stay consistent with different environments. example, matt cassel in new england and matt cassel elsewhere... matt flynn in green bay and matt flynn elsewhere. next year brian hoyer is going to light it up in your precious stat sheet

You're talking to 2 different people here man. I'm just the guy pointing out what you pointed out in the first place. Gonna revoke that Mensa membership if you don't get your shit together.

Hold the fuck up, this dumb mother fucker has a Mensa card?

it means absolutely nothing. most autistic people are phenomenal with concrete problem solving, but are the most absolute Retarded people with real world thinking.

and you have to be the most insecure loser in the world to actually pursue getting one of those things

and on top of that to actually bring it up to people on a random online message board. speaks volumes of what we're dealing with

Just merge this into the closed thread and re-close it :-P

Hoyer has 6, or more, games left to prove himself that's the bottom line. Sundays game is huge for him and the rest of the team.

It's fine that Stockton and others are anti-Hoyer it's a fair opinion. The problem is really the inability to talk about anything else. Stockton thinks making the playoffs with Hoyer will set us back 10 years which makes it pointless to argue with the guy.

Let us enjoy the season while Stockton can sit on his pedestal and dread every time we win.

The other weirdos are the Aggie fans who come on and say they're suddenly browns fans. Whats the deal with them?

Are the Browns back to being who we thought they were? In the past five games, they have lost to the Jaguars and then Sunday to the Texans. Two of their three victories in the past five weeks are over Tampa Bay and Oakland, not exactly good teams. I think the Browns have issues on defense that are starting to show up in a big way, most notably that lack of a run defense. And Brian Hoyer isn't good enough to carry an offense. I know there are a lot of people out there who think Hoyer should get a big-money deal, or the franchise tag, but that's absurd. He's a journeyman at best, and they have Johnny Manziel waiting to play.

Sorry Stockton, but you were getting uppity and you walked into that one.

You may not believe it, but l may be one of your biggest fans here. You have a deeply analytical mind and despite what others say, you find a way to say the same thing over and over again with new descriptions and sometimes interesting analogies.

And you claim to be a diehard Browns fan, which is 90% of belonging here.

BUT FOR THE LOVE Of GOD, PLEASE DISCUSS OTHER PLAYERS BESIDES BRIAN HOYER.

Seriously. I wanna see what someone like you would say about a 3-4 vs. a 4-3 defense, or how good you think our placekicker is.

I am an Aggie fan who is now a Browns fan. I have never really had any rooting interest in the NFL so when Johnny got drafted I became a Browns fan. Obviously I want Johnny to play but as long as Johnny is on the team I will root for the team to have success, even with Hoyer as the QB.

yeah Stockton I'm getting pretty tired of this Hoyer shit. We all knew he wasn't Tom Brady or Peyton Manning...but he's not horribly far off. He's got the best football brain of ANY qb we've had here in Cleveland since the Browns came back and probably even prior. Cause he learned from Belichick and Brady. We need a guy like that here...if he doesn't have the absolute best arm or the quickest wheels...so what. The team has been scoring more points this season than I would have ever dared to dream during the offseason. And most of that has to do with Hoyer and his ability to operate under Shanny's scheme. There's obviously been a few plays left out there that Manziel could have made...but the vast majority of the season Manziel would have hurt us back there more than he helped. It's time to talk about something else, seriously. If we lose a couple more games here you'll get your wish...they'll wanna see where Manziels at.
