WalterWhite
^ Yup. Someone told me the secret to NYC style pizza is the water they use in the crust but I like a thin and crispy rustic or neopoletan style. Chicago Style Pizza is basically Lasagna
DieHardBrownsFan
The greatest food item I have ever sank my jaws into was Lombardi's pizza in NYC Looks like someone puked on the table.

The Gipper
I wish the New York Spaghetti House was still in operation. You can only buy their sauces now at various locations:

Yea, having the sauce is one thing....knowing how to cook and serve it is another.
The Gipper
Another place I used to patronize when I was hanging around downtown Cleveland many years ago: John Qs. Now also closed:

Tour2ma
that margherita pie with sliced tomatoes looks slammin. Stancato's on top of State Road Hill in Parma makes an amazing pie... a double Italian Sausage and mushroom will set you free... http://www.stancatos.com/ Slymans: Joe's in Rocky River stacks a mean Rubin... and features great, home made ethnic deserts from the hood... the Russian tea cakes are amazing. http://myjoesdeli.com/ then go to West 25th Street. The Great Lakes Brewing Company is there and at least three or four other bars that specialize in micro brews and good food. All within walking distance of the Great Lakes Brewing Company. Seriously worth the trip. A near downtown must... but I miss The Smiling Dog Saloon...
