The "workshop" setup and who it caters to is a bit odd. he could have just traveled to the west bank or gaza.... or play a pickem game for one of the numerous countries in Africa. Probably would have gained a little more perspective than this "workshop". I know it was pretty profound for me when I saw first hand in both of those regions just how desolate and hopeless some scenarios humans are born into.
