They are basically saying this happened back in like January or Febuary and then he was told last month that he could appeal. But if thats the case then the team would have known about it. I can't imagine that the NFL would KNOW that one of their top stars and his teams best player failed a drug test that would result in a full year suspension and they wouldn't tell the team until Day two of the draft.
