It would help greatly if we sewed Mack and Ward up, but seems time is running down on that. Assuming we don't, via free agency and the draft we need starters at: FB RB WR G G/C ILB ILB SS Guys that can push to start at: QB CB G WR (3rd WR needed) TE (2nd TE needed) Plus, we need a kicker, a Kickoff returner and depth all over So that is thirteen big additions needed by my count. If Greco and Pinkston or Gilkey hold down starter spots (that is a mediocre group) we are down to 11-12 big additions. If Ward and Mack are retained then 9-10 big additions. We are only going to get 3-4 guys that compete for these type of spots out of the draft, so we need to sign, at the least, 6-7 free agents to fill big voids. I think free agent musts are a veteran WR, an interior lineman (if Mack goes), a safety (if Ward goes), a fullback and an inside linebacker ... we need to fill those spots before we even get to the draft so that we have some flexibility in the draft ...
