jrb12711
yea, let's give up a HOF left tackle for a guy who could possibly bust. That makes perfect sense to me
htownbrown
yea, let's give up a HOF left tackle for a guy who could possibly bust. That makes perfect sense to me It isn't gonna happen anyway. Damn girlfriend!
Kosar_For_President
We would have to pick RGIII than, because who ever is at QB is going to be running for their life.
pizzadeliveryguy
yea, let's give up a HOF left tackle for a guy who could possibly bust. That makes perfect sense to me Because that HOF left tackle is helping us win so many games!!! I would trade Thomas for RGIII in a heartbeat. We need playmakers, as good at JT is he isn't going to be the reason that we ever start winning some football games.
Unsympathetic
The 2 teams who reached the SB this past year focused their money and draft picks on OL, DL, and a franchise QB. You don't trade Joe Thomas - ever. You pay the man, and surround him with other top draft picks.
Nw220
Is Matt Kahili included in the trade??? But seriously no hes the top player at his position in the NFL and that position is a high demand...Many teams would dream of having Joe Thomas we should all be thankful as Browns fans that we do... Zombo
Do you know how hard it is to get a franchise left tackle? Just about as hard as it is to get a franchise Qb. Trading Thomas to get Griffin is like trading in your armour to get a sword. That swords gonna look real nice in your hands after you've been gutted because you had no protection. USFBrown
It is a nice analogy. But you have a better chance of killing your opponent with a sword than with your armor. I still wouldn't trade Thomas tho.
ballpeen
You don't trade away good players. That would be moronic.

Jason J
Yes, Joe Thomas has been instrumental in the Browns offense being so potent. Our ability to run teh football around the left side is fantastic. Thomas is a great LT..... which means he adds little, if any impact to the team. He has not helped the Browns win at all. We suck just as much with him as we did without him. The Harrison hit on Clit McCunt was a result of Fat Ass Thomas missing a block on his side. Plus, isn't this going to be his 8th yeah? He doesn't have many years left, and will probably miss a good part of this season with an injury. Seriously, he's due. Trade him now, next year he won't be worth shit. You're entitled to your opinion. But, in the play you're referring to, James Harrison was in coverage, not being blocked by the left tackle. -jj
hammertime
change the question to say luck for thomas. then you'll peek the interest of a few more. all the effort put forth to get rg3 should be a parralell effort to pry luck away from the colts.
