Why Cutting Corporate Taxes Does Not Create Jobs.

Would you hire a plumber if you didn't have any leaky pipes?

Cutting taxes to put more money in the hands of corporations and the rich does not create jobs. A company will only hire someone if they need them. A company will only need additional workers if demand for their product increases. How does demand for their product increase? When the consumer has the money to buy it.

How many corporations out there are sitting on billions of dollars? They have money, the demand for their product just isn't increasing enough for them to have to hire new people.

The consumer needs the tax breaks, not the corporations. Cut taxes for the middle class.

Spot on....don't forget about tax abatement as well. Every time a company gets those incentives, the burden falls on the average Joe to support schools & services.

Small businesses are incorporated, so why should they have to be burdened with paying for all of the useless spending that goes on in DC?

And the number of small corporations is much larger than the giant corporations, who have the luxery of moving and setting up shop somewhere else. Then the larger corporations can hide behind NAFTA, and still bring in their goods for sale and not have to pay a dime in taxes.
