1. Indeed. If not, we get a longer look at our receivers of next year. I think both Tillman and Moore will get lot's of looks. I want to see Moore played more as an actual receiver and not so much as the Schwartz, gadget guy replacement. Screw the gadget crap. You can't live on that. I want to see him going out on pattens and catching passes, and not just quick bubble screens. You can't live on YAC either.
2. Baker looked good yesterday. I got the Sunday ticket and ended up watching much of the Buc's game. I have always been a Bucs fan of sorts. My parents retired to the area and my Dad bought season tickets for their 1st season and held them many years. I always went to the Browns game when they played in Tampa. I also went to many non-Browns games. I don't know if it is so much about the receivers as much as it is about Baker. I think he has matured and possibly been humbled a bit. He finally understands that he doesn't need to be "the guy" He just needs to move the team down the field. If he was still in Cleveland, it still wouldn't be working out for him. He would still be trying to be "the guy" and the fans would still be expecting him to be that. I think he has finally settled in to a place where he can be comfortable.
3. We were waiting on you to start the thread!
4.
The cost of admission to my pal's house is a bottle of wine and a pizza.
Dang Larry, I started to think about this. You must be spending that $200 a month unless you are going over there with a cheap ass wine and a Red Barron Pizza. Just busting your chops...lol
5. It happens. It isn't cheap holding my club seats. Especially when you start tagging on 3 nights in hotels as I do . This last game it was 4 nights. We didn't feel like driving all the way back(625 miles) on Monday. Time takes it's toll.
6. I have seen O-lines lining up in a concave manner for a good while. Could be concave depending on how you look at it. I guess the emphasis on protecting the QB has led to this. Today you see tackles lined up with the helmet in line with their guards butt. The league has allowed this so if they are going to start enforcing, they need to give the OT 1 verbal warning. I know they do this with edge rushers if it looks to the ref they are starting to push the boundary of the neutral zone.
7. Who cares? As long as we win, I don't give a crap what the ranking say.
8. Joel played the position and did a good job. I am only looking at that as a possibility if Wills or Dewand get hurt. Dunn has done a good job at guard. I don't see him as being weak at that position. We drafted Hudson, but am not sure he is going to be all that good. Marginal is my thinking. We might need to think about drafting a few OTs over the next couple of years.
9. I don't know about screwed, but I agree it wouldn't be ideal. No matter how you look at it, we would be weakening 2 positions rather than one.
10. Sorry to see that. I don't like to see any player get injured, even Steelers. At his age, he might have to hang them up.
11. You see LT's do that all the time. It does make a huge difference. It basically gives the LT a 2 step ground gain on the DE. Three if you count the left, right, then left again, or R,L,then R again for the other tackle.
12. Probably more like $200+ going out. A cheeseburger, fries, and 3-4 beers is going to cost more than $20. I admit that I am a good tipper, some may not feel this way, but after sitting there 3-4 hours I can't leave the server a $5 tip. I generally leave at least $15. They are having to come over and check on you for 3-4 hours.
13. Glad to see. Hope a few more give reviews. I have season tickets and will go to 6 games. For the others i will probably get the Ticket this week. If the rate prorates down, I'll wait a few more. I will get the Monday night game and am going to the Titans game. I'd even get that one locally. I am at the point I would rather stay home, cook a pot of something and watch from my easy chair rather than head to a bar to watch.
14. I think we probably look towards Leatherwood as a back-up. If Wills gets hurt, probably switch Jones to LT . We played Bitonio at LT a few years ago. Maybe we do that.

Who knows. Maybe the last. An all-time record!

You have to use the word chumps in context. I don't mean scrubs. If Frenchy Fuqua played 17 game seasons he would have gained near 1000 yards.

That is my point. I don't think they are elite just like I don't think that backs who gain 1000 yards are all that good. We hold the player of today to standards when players played 12-14 games a season. Chumps from 30 years ago would be superstars today. The new standard for backs should be around 1500 yards.
18. Who cares who she roots for. We can root for whoever we want, at least until the socialists(communists) tell us who to root for. If her mind, personality, and body work for him, that's good enough for me.

They play 17 friggen games a year. That's less than 60 yards a game. Lets quit acting like 1000 yards is a lot. Elite receivers should gain around 1400 yards.
20. LOL....my bad..I googled Godwin. Sorry about that. Thanks for the correction.
21. I get what you are saying, but if we win your must win games and nothing else, we win 7 games. Just play the season. All games are must win, and know you aren't going to win all of them. You never know which loss is going to hurt the most. You never know which win is going to help the most. That season ending loss to the Bengals which you project might be the killer. I do understand you may not project it as a loss, but it could be the must win game. Just stack up wins and hope it is good enough.
22. Our bye week is in week 5. That is pretty early. It won't be good if we are 1-4 at week 5, but it isn't over at week 5. The last 12 games are going to count for something. Same if we are 5-0...you know well enough we can bodger it up after that.
23. Noory has done a real good job. I still tune him in if I wake up at 1-2AM, which is a regular thing these days. I like IAN Pundant...he is a weekend fill in guy. I think he is out of Atlanta. I have listened to Church. It is what it is. As I have gotten older and retired, I sleep like a cat. A few hours here, a few hours there....no set deal of going to bed at 9 and waking at 4 like I did when working. I sleep when I am tired and stay up no matter the hour. My wife gets mad when I get up and fix a cup of coffee at 1AM. I'll sleep again between 5 and 7, or maybe 9 and 12, or 2 and 5PM. LOL I stay up when awake and sleep when tired.
24. Larry King was great. Same with the Art Bell program. Glad there are some other radio heads out there. At least for me, I would pick up some "far away" station, then go to my Google of the day, the "Funk and Wagnalls", and read about the city the next morning. My parents bought our Funk and Wagnalls at the grocery store a few volumes at a time. Fishers grocery store. It took about a year to get the entire set.
25. I was a radio freak as a kid in Bay Village. I'd tune that sucker and get all excited listening to a radio station in New Orleans or listen to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. I felt like I was there. Heck, I was. You left the bubble called Cleveland. I actually started to like country music back then, but wouldn't admit it to my friends because they made fun of it....lol. Kind of like us Clevelanders kind of, sort of like Polka music, even if you don't admit it. WSM...650 on the dial. The Opry has been broadcast nearing 100 years now as a weekly program. The longest running program. Maybe since 1924. I am sure you remember as a kid every once in a while you could pick up Detroit TV stations. Man, that was an exciting moment! Even Toronto every now and again! They were mostly showing the same stuff, but still, it was another world just like radio stations out of Nashville, New Orleans, St Louis. Pretty cool as a 10 year old kid.
