  1. I love the Foreman signing, whether Chubb misses time or they want to ease Chubb back, Foreman is the the north/south between the tackles runner we need who can handle a workload. A big dude at 235lbs.
  2. For sure. Hines will probably be mostly special teams and maybe some passing down work. If Chubb starts the season on IR, it will be mostly Ford/Foreman with Strong getting minimal touches. Then when Chubb comes back, Strong goes to the practice squad.
  3. Jefferson is a solid pass rusher. Six sacks last year. D-line is looking stacked.
  4. Raiders signed TE Harrison Bryant. C Nick Harris to the Seahawks. Bryant was alright but not losing much with those two. Browns sign TE/fullback Giovanni Ricci and Tony Brown - a couple of special teamers. Browns re-signed P Bojorquez for two years - that's a good move. Browns sign backup OT Hakeem Adeniji from Cincy for some o-line depth.
  5. Anthony Walker to the Dolphins Maurice Hurst back on a one year Za'Darius Smith signs a two year deal with the Brownies, fuck yes
  6. Desperate move by a team desperate for a quarterback. Russ isn't the 2013 Russ, he's a washed up primadonna. But I guess it's a slight upgrade over Pickett, which isn't saying much.
  7. We have little to no chance of getting Zack Moss, he's looking for a big payday and we can't afford it. Drafting an RB might be what we do if we can't get a rental for cheap. We just need an adequate filler until Chubb gets back.
  8. Watch out Dutch, you know he's coming here with some obscure, cherry-picked stat that actually has nothing to do with the point he is trying to make.
  9. The big variable here is when does Nick Chubb return. You know that MAN is working his ass off to get back as soon as possible. Those names above are obvious good choices, but with our salary cap situation I'm not sure we can do any of them unless they come here on a team friendly deal. If Chubb misses time, we need someone who can run between the tackles for an entire game. Ford isn't a bruiser, Hunt was good in short-down situations but isn't a workhorse anymore. A few free agent RB's fitting this mold come to mind: Gus Edwards - he's a 238lb monster and is a north-south runner like Chubb and can steamroll, not a pass catcher but we won't need him to. D'Onta Foreman - 235lbs bowling ball, north-south runner, also can't pass catch like Edwards. Of course I'd take any of the above five RB's over these guys, but there's really no sexy options we can afford. Plus, it depends on Chubb, is he coming back Week 3 or Week 14? Chubb's estimated return will dictate how badly we need to spend here.
  10. Fuck the Steelers. This is the new and improved version of the Browns! Steelers got lucky Chubb got injured in Week 2.
  11. That would be great news if Wilson signed with the Steelers. He's completely washed up. He benefited from playing with a top 5 all-time defense and the best running back in the league at the time in Marshawn Lynch when he was in Seattle. If he signs with the Steelers that's an easy two W's for us next year.
  12. Other than Andy Reid, there's absolutely nothing I like about the Chiefs. Reid is unquestionably the best coach in the NFL and has been for a while, he is a first ballot Hall of Famer. Mahomo and Kelce are unbearable, and yes, I am fatigued and sick of both of them. Prepare for the 2024-2025 season to be another year of the NFL cramming the Chiefs down our throats.
  13. Oh god, the NFL and ESPN are already starting the Mahomes/Chiefs 3-peat hype. I guess pencil the Chiefs in for the Super Bowl next year.
  14. Dementia Joe said it, if you know how to read. Poor bitch boy got his feelings hurt! Wahhhhh! Wahhhhh!
