  1. Oh, AFTER he got hit in the head with his helmet? Of for shame on him for taking a swing. Geez. Do you hear yourself?
  2. Your own quarterback said it against his own teammate...”It was INEXCUSABLE.” Mayfield calling it like it is. I applaud him being a man.
  3. At no time is Rudolph trying to punch him. And his linemen are holding Garrett back from their QB and pushing him. Of course Rudolph shouldn’t have chased after him, but then Garrett drives the helmet towards Rudolph’s head. I’m pretty sure Garrett isn’t trembling in fear of any QB.
  4. Oh nobody said it was smart. But Garrett and the Browns are the ones who will be paying the price for his stupidity. Unfortunately it wasn’t a good look for the NFL either.
  5. Geezus man, there’s a difference between trying to pull a players helmet off and using it as a weapon against a player NOT WEARING ONE.
  6. Exactly. Was Garrett justified to retaliate? I guess, maybe. But like that? Never.
  7. Tapped? Wow. And asking for it? A retaliatory punch...sure. Smacking him with his own helmet. Never. I’m not sure excusing Garret’s conduct is the right angle to take on this as a fan base.
  8. No I’m really not. I was just giving my unbiased opinion. And yes I do remember that and you’re right, it did get tons of attention. As will this. But the injuries don’t really matter. He clobbered a QB with his own helmet after the play was over. To me that’s about as bad as it gets.
  9. Are you actually comparing a rubber cleat to a helmet?? Doesn’t matter what the injuries were. It’s felony assault. There’s a reason it’s getting the attention it is right now. It was shocking and inexcusable like Baker said.
