Why is Balt. good every year?

They had an excellent draft - they got a couple front 7 guys that FIT perfectly in their scheme. They got a younger option to Ingram that FITS what they do and good outside weapon for Lamar. Most importantly they have stability once again at the HC spot and a good one too. i am just waiting on DCs around the league to wake up and come up with a Lamar Jackson scheme...when it happens this is a .500 team.

25 Years Later, a Mystery Remains

I know this was 1995 but how in the heck does a Place with expensive collections have no cameras or any security measures in place. then you have someone clever enough make sure fingerprints are gone but not bright enough to secure the item in a spot where it could be retrieved after everything potentially blew over

Better for us. He has a lot to prove we need him - long term he wants to be paid like a Good TE1 it won’t be with us

    Jets Trade Jamal Adams

All true - they scouted well and had good fortune but most of those guys are gone so can they do it again or even to a smaller degree?

    Jets Trade Jamal Adams

So they are hitching the wagon to Wilson and Adams. Adams next contract will cost them. Definitely could be worse. If I were paying out top money it would go Franchise QB, Elite pass rusher, HOF Left tackle, Elite Corner When your cap is tied up like it will be tied up you need draft picks to build depth and cheaper solid starters and maybe even some Pro Bowl guys if you do it really well. The front office will be operating on a very small margin for error. The window is now next year and the year after.

What are the chances Greedy turns out?

I thought teams went at him last year. He held his own sometimes and got beat others. I think we can rule out that He’s no Justin Gilbert. I don’t think We can determine whether or not he has some Pro Bowl years ahead of himself. there were games that I thought he came up and filled and tackled better than he played in coverage - which was supposed to be the opposite. Anyone have his PFF number last year?

PFF Summer 2020 - All The Links

Honestly, having watched the Giants almost as much as the Browns- He's pretty unremarkable- unless he went to Green Bay and the light suddenly went on.
  12. this was a common argument back In 2017 when the market shot up. Here are some facts... Last census reported that 33% of Americans have a 401K of course performance health of this is tied to the market. if you work in State or local governments chances are you have a Pension directly tied to the stock market. it is true that 70-80% of traditional stock purchasers are institutional buyers (Buying large blocks of stock) and not you or me opening up a TD Ameritrade account and buying stock - although you can today and make trades today too. There are actually some GREAT buys over the past four months. I’d venture to say some folks can check off some of these and maybe all of these. Not to go down the Economics rabbit hole here but I also tie Unemployment rate into economic health. Out here in good ole California where we have had large minimum wage increases Over the past four years and a city wage ordinance increases and still relatively low unemployment that’s also a sign of economic prosperity.

Myles Garrett, 7 year 147$ million

I thinks it’s Baker or Ward - and if one of them doesn’t develop the answer is easy. If they both develop its Baker of course. add in a guy like Chubb who we all love but He’s probably going to get Franchised and then play his second contract elsewhere. Baker (fingers crossed) and Myles are your big contracts- that’s all the room you got
  15. a few here... The stock market has some opportunities during this pandemic. Horse racing (which is usually always a losing proposition)

    Njoku Back In

I think I’ve been harder on Njoku than most on here. He’s the one guy that you can seemingly single out (when he plays) WTF is he doing and I’m not talking about the drops. This isn’t a good time to deal him unless the reports are true that multiple teams want him and you create a natural bidding war. I believe he’s properly motivated (playing for the next contract) to focus and work hard in a football sense. Wouldn’t we all like to see this play from him finally rather than waiting on 5th round 2021 pick to develop and throwing a rookie out TE on the field extended time prematurely?

He was cleared at the end of last season. Why would his broken wrist prohibit his return?

Why is Balt. good every year?

-Well established successful defensive system/philosophy. They have guys that leave and they still do well. -they have never had QB play that has crippled them. They’ve had Some game managers over the years but they’ve played well. -Billock and Then Harbaugh. -kicker is an absolute weapon and a clear advantage over most teams

    Njoku Back In

I disagree Njoku comes up with an “injury” that’s only going to hurt him come FA down the road. That’s two years in a row - he’s out. Njoku is probably the last guy in the roster that can afford to no show too. We can stash him away and play two other guys that are arguably better and will take his reps and both of those guys need reps badly (rookie and a free agent). Njoku needs to play 16 games and show production this season

    Njoku Back In

I don’t know. -New regime. -They just made another TE the highest or one of the highest paid at his position. -they drafted another fairly high. -you have OBJ, Landry, Hunt, Chubb before we even get to the TE position which features the two I mentioned above. The ball needs to get around and Njoku needs numbers to set himself up for his next check. Hes probably better off not being here but I wouldn’t give him up for a last day draft pick either

Throw in Philip Rivers- he’s got some eye popping numbers. Moon...Kelly...Marino come to mind over the past 30-40 years

My Family Tradition as Browns Fans

I grew up in between Akron and Youngstown. I don’t recall the station but I remember Nev. Having spent time around Philadelphia radio, San Diego and So Cal radio. I agree we have some great radio people. Tom Hamilton is one of my favorites. I’d put him up against anyone. I think we feel exactly the same about Browns Tribe and Cavs although I enjoyed the Price Nance Daugherty Cavs there were just too many dismal tanking years in between that and LBJ And even after LBJ that my interest was lost a little.

My Family Tradition as Browns Fans

Great topic!!! The 86 Browns were my first recollection of the Browns. My dad and I watched every game (Youngstown area) we would listen to the radio during the game to hear play by play with Nev Chandler. I remember My Cousin collected these Browns Digests 70s-80s not sure what they were called He had stacked high in a cabinet. I remember being 7/8 and reading most of them each time we would visit. First game at Muni Stadium was a Monday Night game against the Colts with Mike Pagel as the QB. I was 8 I had school (2nd or 3rd grade) the next morning my mom was pissed. Now being 2500 miles away I usually call Sunday evenings and we talk about what the Browns did wrong
  25. I Got a whole different opinion of Jarvis Landry when this first aired. I hope he ends his career in Brown and Orange
