  1. Please don't use the phrase "pull one out" here. It's a sensitive matter.
  2. I think many people are missing that this is all Watson's fault, not the NFL's.
  3. Looks like you are right, probably going to do the whole season at this point.
  4. The NFLPA did not appeal the 6 game suspension. So the debate is for week 7 this year or week 1 next year.
  5. Watson loses 1 million dollars in salary if he is suspended the entire season this year. Watson loses 1.5 million plus for EACH GAME if he files an injunction and drags this out until next year. No judge will rule against the CBA. It is negotiated and agreed upon by both parties. CBA says basically that both parties could appeal to Goodell and he will use the facts from the case by Sue Robinson. She clearly found him "guilty" of violating the Personal Conduct Policy. Also, the NFL will say Watson's actions are unprecedented. Worst thing Watson and NFLPA can do is appeal in federal court and get an injunction. He will lose a ton more money.
  6. And if he starts games this year. Gets suspended next year it SIGNIFICANTLY increases his salary loss.
  7. It is important to let this play out. Things to note: The owners are not subject to the CBA which this falls under. The gambler is not subject to the Personal Conduct Policy which this falls under. The PED user is not subject to the Personal Conduct Policy which this falls under. The ball deflator is not subject to the Person Conduct Policy which this falls under. All those comparisons are not applicable in this instance. However, all of those comparisons are applicable in the court of public opinion. The MOST notable legitimate comparisons are Big Ben (1 accusation - 6 games) and Zeke Elliot (1 accusation - 6 games) Sue Robinson's quote "Egregious misconduct" I think this will be upped by 2-6 games and he will be fined and he will be required to attend counseling (which he should do regardless). The NFL won't want to look weak, but will not want this drawn out all season again. So they won't go for the full season, but they will increase it. But not by so much as to draw appeals from the NFLPA. 8-12 games. IMHO
  8. Just want to point two things out that keep getting mis reported. 1. Watson did NOT sit out last year for discipline, he sat out refusing to play for the Texans. 2. Dan Snyder was fined 10 million and suspended for a year. (Not OFFICIALLY, but in reality)
  9. The end result is: In no way, shape, or form will this guy be behind center of any team until the cases are resolved (one way or another). The NFL won't allow it.
  10. Wayde is a Free Agent as of a couple of hours ago.
  11. 4-44 in three years prior 13 wins last two years. baby steps.
  12. If the browns go 3-1 over the last 4 games (which they should) They will finish 8-8 (better than last year) Division record 4-2 (better than last year) Conference record 7-5 (better than last year) It takes time to build a winner. Address the O-line and they are going to be a bit better next year.
  13. This is all that needs to be known. 14. This Dolphins team is the worst I've seen. Worse than the 0-16 Browns or Lions.
  15. Rock Ya-Sin Hakeem Butler
  16. There are 5 pro-bowlers on that list of draftees. That is an extremely good rate.
