I absolutely understand that open-air football stadiums in the North are pretty useless for so much of the year but I admit, I watched a video of the renderings of the new Bears domed stadium and part of me died inside thinking of a team like the Bears playing indoors. And I have a feeling if the Browns build a dome, a big part of me is going to absolutely hate it too, even if the logical part of me understands.

Cooper and Moore are free agents after this season. That would leave us with Jeudy and a whole bunch of young guys who haven't done much as of today. Hopefully a Cooper extension happens.

That is always a solid prediction when Berry is involved.

It's funny, growing up most of us would never think we would see a professional sports team in Vegas. In three or four years, we will have a Las Vegas football, hockey and baseball team. Still not sure how they are going to shoehorn a domed stadium for the A's in Lost Wages on a 9 acre plot of land.

Today is the Guardians last game ever vs the Oakland Athletics, per se. The A's will play the next three or four years in Sacramento. Not sure if they will still be known as the Oakland A's during those years?

You think they would pass on a LT because Wills is on the roster? Isn't he on the last season of his rookie contract? And Conklin should retire. Guy can't stay healthy enough to play into October. Jones is the only Tackle on the roster worth building around long-term.

It definitely is a different game now. Kind of funny to go back to the "old days" and look at stats of the good quarterbacks... A top QB pre-1980s might complete 52-55% of their passes and throw slightly more touchdowns than interceptions. Now, QBs routinely complete 60%+ of their passes with a 3 to 1 touchdown to interception ratio - or better...

Helluva start to the season... and we have some potential good bats coming to Cleveland in the future with 1B Kyle Manzardo and OF Chase DeLauter. Bad news is it appears Tristan McKenzie's throwing elbow is a ticking time bomb.

Nelsen was with the Browns between 1968-1972. Blanton Collier was his head coach for Nelsen's first three seasons in Cleveland.

When I think of "classic Browns", I think of Jim Brown, Otto Graham, Dante Lavelli, Lou Groza, Bill Willis, etc. None of them wore the 1970s invention of mediocre Browns teams and the white facemasks (thanks Art for both). The uniform nerd in me hates the white facemasks. 🤣 Oh well.
