  1. I'm proud of our Browns' season & their "never give up" attitude. Past Browns' Teams probably would have folded early in this one. As far as the hit that was a missed call, keep in mind that we had over 1 1/2 minutes left & had Higgins secured that ball with BOTH hands, we're sittin' on 1st & goal from the 1 or 2 yard line & that's what I would imagine Stefanski & Staff stressing to the Team.....Control what YOU can control. I don't always get my news from the Post Gazette

All those Fs reminded me of Otis... LMAO Mike
  3. Me too! He certainly lived up to that old adage, "Open mouth, insert foot", didn't he? Maybe, someday, he'll learn to NOT load his opponent's gun for him! Mike

    The official Terry Pluto thread

I DID click on the link and was not disappointed. Terry Pluto remains a Cleveland Treasure! Mike
  5. The great ones overcome adversity & practice "Next man up". This Browns' Team THRIVES on adversity & is so tight knit! I agree with Cal, "Coaching STAFF of the Year". I love watching my Family, friends & those of you young Fans experience this new culture & the joy it brings to Cleveland & Browns' Fans everywhere! Mike

    Clay Matthew HOF Finalist!

This year, there is SERIOUS competition for limited spots, so Clay's induction may be delayed again. What pisses me off is a number of past inductess far less deserving than Clay, led by good ol' Joe Willie Namath, who made it based on pantyhose, furcoats, ONE brash prediction & the New York media IMHO. He certainly didn't make it based on his career stats (see below) or the fact he had a LOSING career record. His teams had an overall record of 68 wins, 71 losses, and four ties, (64–64–4 in 132 starts, and 4–7 in relief). I couldn't believe Joe Willie got inducted when he did & it still bothers me. Facts don't lie. 50.1% completions, more picks than TDs, & W-L record? But he DID win a Super Bowl....Whoop-de-doo Mike
  7. Doggone it Tour, I was gonna post the same thing! Glad I read all posts first. Mike

    Jan. 2-3 Gamegear...

Today: Gray fleece pants & Ohio State hoodie. Sunday: White Baker jersey & "undraftable Baker Mayfield" hoodie. Mike
  9. Our OL just got DOMINATED & playcalling surprised MANY, including me, but I'm not qualified to critique the pros. Bottom line folks is that we lost, the game is over, & we MUST beat the Steelers to get to the playoffs. All that being said, we started the season with a new front office, new coaching staff, new offensive & defensive schemes, no training camp, many injuries, & the WORST we can be after this season is 10-6 & no playoffs this year. Not too shabby! I think we are 1-2 years "ahead of schedule" & I'll be fine with that. It's been an exciting, entertaining year. Now let's kick the Steelers asses....(if Rudolph starts, kick a little MORE than his ass!) Mike
  10. No matter what, we lost & yesterday's game is over. Steelers coming up & we're still in the hunt. GO BROWNS! Mike
  11. Simple use of leftover beef tenderloin for gametime snacks.... Sliced tenderloin, sliced cucumber, horseradish sauce, & slider buns. I used Woeber's bottled sauce & it was great. Mike

Landry, Higgins, Hodge and DPJ Out for Jets

The hell with what breaks other teams got....What we have is what we have. Now we have a challenge & an opportunity for innovation/success. Who knows, but what previously overlooked "superstar" or "plan of attack" may show up today? This is gonna be interesting! Certainly not your normal game, but I think we have the right folks in charge. Time to overcome adversity. GO BROWNS! Mike

    Merry Christmas, All...

Merry Christmas to all (slightly late as my youngest Grandson had all my attention yesterday)... This little guy LOVES the Browns plus caught (and kissed) his 1st several fish this year. He is Grandpa's shadow & I love it! Mike
