  1. I think both of you are filtering things through your own lenses of what you want to be true but cal is somewhat closer to the truth. The left is a regressive homogeneous viewpoint where no free ideas or innovation can thrive and they militantly seek to enforce it in all walks of life. Your fevered delusions of an insurrection are somewhat laughable. The capitol protests were pretty far down the list of demonstrations that were anywhere close to an actual insurrection except in liberal heads.

  5. 3. GREG NEWSOME II | Northwestern 6000 | 192 lbs. | JR. Chicago, Ill. (IMG Academy) 5/18/2000 (age 20.95) BACKGROUND: Gregory “Greg” Newsome II grew up on the south side of Chicago with his focus on basketball and AAU tournaments before switching to football in middle school. He moved to Carol Stream (30 miles west of Chicago) and enrolled at Glenbard North High School where he lettered in basketball, track and football, playing defensive back and wide receiver. After a year on the freshman team, he earned First Team All-Conference as a sophomore with 40 tackles and a team-best six interceptions. Newsome again earned All-Conference honors as a junior, finishing with 85 tackles, 18 passes defended and three interceptions, adding 224 receiving yards and four touchdowns on offense. He transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., for his senior season, finishing with 15 tackles, 17 passes defended and two interceptions in 2017. In track, Newsome clocked personal-bests in the 100 meters (11.05) and 200 meters (22.86). A three-star cornerback recruit out of high school, Newsome was the No. 62 ranked cornerback in the class and the No. 107 ranked recruit in the state of Florida. He considered offers from Arkansas, Iowa, Virginia Tech and others, but decided to stay closer to home, signing with Northwestern and enrolling in January 2018. Newsome elected to skip his senior season and enter the 2021 NFL Draft. He became the first Northwestern true junior to declare for the NFL Draft after three years since Darnell Autry in 1996. STRENGTHS: Balanced athlete with nimble feet and the lower body muscles to spring in any direction…fluid hip turn to stay under control and in phase…matches receivers off the line and out of breaks…pedal quickness to collect-and-close…heightened cover awareness with NFL eyes to map receivers up and down the field…high football IQ…has a knack for finding passing lanes…plays through the hands of receivers to create incompletions…calms his feet downhill to square up ball carriers as a tackler and get them on the ground…takes it personally when completions happen and the coaches praise his competitive confidence (Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald: “He’s got a short memory and a quick fuse”)…zero touchdowns allowed in 2020…got his hands on a lot of passes in college with 25 passes defended in only 21 games played. WEAKNESSES: Wiry body type with lean, stringy muscle tone…average play strength and needs to continue and get stronger…will struggle to shed blocks and can be jostled from his path by physical wide receivers…will find his hips turned prematurely, biting on double-moves and getting himself turned around…grabby tendencies and flags will follow…only one interception in his career and needs to turn the break-ups into turnovers…lack of size leads to durability concerns…missed at least three games each of his three collegiate seasons due to nagging injuries, including a groin issue as a junior (December 2020). SUMMARY: A three-year starter at Northwestern, Newsome was the left cornerback in former defensive coordinator Mike Hankwitz’s man/zone scheme, lining up primarily from off-coverage. After leading the team in passes defended (11) as a sophomore, he was No. 1 in the Big Ten in passes defended (10) as a junior and led the FBS in passer rating against (15.77) — of the 10 completions he allowed in 2020, only one was 10-plus yards downfield. With his agile footwork and anticipation, Newsome attaches himself to receivers and stays under control in coverage. He has terrific eyes to sort and make plays, but he needs to turn the pass break-ups into interceptions. Overall, Newsome comes with durability concerns, especially against the rigors of the NFL, but he is a route magnet with fluid transitions and natural instincts. He projects as a press-man NFL starter as a rookie. [212] GRADE: 1st Round (No. 18 overall)

  7. I'm pretty lucky with the friends I got. I keep a tight circle, always have, always will. My 5 dearest, we jokingly refer to ourselves as the Security Council, I've known since the earliest days of high school. The better part of 20 years now. 1 is black, 1 is bi-racial, 1... his dad is a Pacific Islander, and we fuck around calling him Pineapple Express, he hates it but all of us die laughing. Then the two resident white boys with above average skills - myself included. We fuck around and share all sorts of meme's in our group chat ranging from serious stuff (Doge coin) to stereotypes about skin color and the such. I'm white, I hate mayo, don't really like ranch and I drive a Cadillac, believe me I get shit thrown my way all the time by these 4. They're jealous because I actually am the best dancer of the group. Just this Saturday I heard "why do all white people smell like bologna and mayo"... Couldn't stop laughing. Why? I love these guys, we're a unit and I know they mean zero harm in what they say. This... the bolded, however. That doesn't quite pass the "were amongst friends", smell test.

  8. as I've showed in the past, America changes direction ever 4/8 years to put the Great Ship America back on course. except the dems are working on dismantling the steering.... the left are a lot of people who demand control over other people. It's a sick thing - they are hell bent to prop up their fragile egos and inherent failings as human beings - by accruing the power to manipulate other people. You can find these people in churches, not just politics. You can find them in education...the military.....some coaching positions - especially of kids... the clergy.... forums...managers of online platforms.....some police depts......colleges......etc. That is why so many people joined the ranks of the nazis. Why so many joined the communist parties in communist china and the soviet union. It's sickening - the extremes that have occurred in history, groups of people controlling. the nazis were worse than dangerous in this way - they were ruthlessly satanic like in their demand for control and power over people. It's like a narcotic to most - they get that power, and it rages in groups. like the kkk, blm, weathermen....antifa, ms13.... and social media has enabled collective groups emerging. A lot like the borg of Star Trek, who were famous for their cold blooded You will be assimilated" to every non-Borg human being. The left in America is saying to Real America - "you must be assimilated" so they don't lose their power. They have to have more and more and more and more of it. At every single aspect of Real American life, they bitch, endlessly, and insist on turning everything upside-down, inside-out and bass-ackwards. At this point - what HAVEN"T they bitched about? Christians, Christian churches, conservatives, right to life, property ownership, people who worked hard all their lives to be successful, imaginary victimhood at every single second they imagine some kind of fake persecution so they can rally other controllers' demands for. "all police". "all conservatives". "all rich people". "all white people", capitalism, Real Marriage, anything Biblical, cows, pickup trucks, every single hamburger bun is racist, guns, fishing rods, boats, campers, traveling, farming.... etc etc etc - they label "RACIST" because the black power groups in cities don't do those things. But it is all just a play for power. Just....like.... how the nazis grew to dominate Germany and other countries - POWER. and they always have to have persecuted people. The nazis persecuted Jews - blamed them for anything they could think of. Socially and economically destroyed their lives and livelihoods, destroyed their safety, put them on the run, and finally put them in death camps. Right now, it's ok for blm/antifa/ms13 to burn cities down, murder rape beat up other people. nazis had that kind of power, too. the nazi brownshirts served their purpose well. See the similarities? Just read - and see it. History repeats itself for those who don't know it. And, btw, note the definition of "left". Compare leftwing behavior..to nazi behavior. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page https://www.historyhit.com/hitlers-bullyboys-the-role-of-the-sa-in-nazi-germany/ The Brownshirts: The Role of the Sturmabteilung (SA) in Nazi Germany

  12. BORDER-LIES Democrat rips White House for misleading pictures of empty migrant facilities: 'They're right next door' The youths were relocated to nearby tents operated by the Department of Health and Human Services, the congressman told the outlet. "But they’re right next door," Cuellar added about the migrants. "They’re just next door in HHS." Following an inquiry from Border Report, DHS officials confirmed the youths were in HHS custody but would not disclose the location, the outlet reported. Hoorta your vote hard at work spreading lies!

  14. I wasn't needling. I get along with Nick just fine. I was just pointing out the actual numbers. I know there is a well deserved notion that Auburn is a running team. It isn't that they don't pass enough to be balanced, they just run the ball batter than most others year in and year out. Pro coaches have been going down to Auburn, Alabama for a good number of years to get a little coaching on running the ball. Gus is the best with schemes and splits..

  25. Have done a couple episodes of shadow and bone. Not loving it so far. No characters that I particularly like or really dislike. The accents and the sound mixing make it hard to figure out what the fuck they really saying. I am also wondering if some of these actors are Americans doing a British accent… WSS

  26. Remember that meme, everybody I hate is Hitler? While I truly believe that any comparison between any modern American politician and Uncle Adolf is a crock of shit there are certainly similarities among the way the national socialists came to power and any other turnover of political power anywhere in the world. Just like animal farm works for the Bolshevik revolution and 1776. But it aint happening here today. Don't forget to turn off the lights when you leave the bunker. 27. Your hero tried a (failed) coup on January 6th. "come on down it will be wild". Pound salt in your delusions. That's what Banana Republic strongmen do- when they don't like the results of a free and fair election. Create nonexistent conspiracy theories- I know you've got a million of them on why Cheetos lost. 60-1. But-but- but my ass... You're the one who's blindly following a megalomaniac pathological liar into a dictatorship. Unfortunately, you're so far down in rabbit hole of the adulation of Mr. Cult- you can't possibly see the OTHER parallel to Adolph and the Nazis... . Biden and the Democrats aren't perfect- but at least they're not insane.... PS- your hero wouldn't know what statesmanship is if it walked up to him and hit him upside of the head with a 2X4.

  28. We disagree on a lot of stuff Steve, but I'm with you on this one. On a personal level- I have a relative who's on "permanent disability" that's totally capable of finding one of the jobs that I see posted every day just driving around. But he'd rather freeload off of the government, because he's playing up that back injury for all it's worth- for the last 20 years.

I'll take it with the Browns drafting a CB in the first round as a vote of no confidence in Greedy. Regardless of what Berry said.
