GREEN BAY REVISITED |

Gang, if you ever get a chance to visit Lambeau Field- don't pass it up.
First the atmosphere is unbelievable. Outside, the tailgate parties are
everywhere and they lead right up to the stadium. The fans were really
cool, and most were dressed in their favorite green jersey. The entire
area seemed like a wall of green. |

|
You'd never know that the stadium dates back to 1918. It is pristine and
"feels" modern. Inside, we visited their Hall of Fame which was beyond
description (and only $10). You could spend hours in there and it is open
during the week. Our visit was a bit rushed because it was game day and we
had a lot to see. You can just feel the history of the franchise and the
pride of the community as you go through it. Their three Super Bowl
trophies are displayed together in one case.
On the way to the game, I picked up my son, Keith, in Milwaukee along with
his Marquette buddy Dan (from Medina). Here we are before the game. The
Packer fans got a kick out of my shirt. |

Here is a picture from our seats. We were in the 28th row on the 35 yard
line behind the Packer's bench. The bleacher seating sure makes the place
seem more intimidate. For those with weak backs, porta-seats can be
rented for a few bucks. |

Reggie White's daughter sang the National Anthem and his family was
honored at halftime during a ceremony to retire his #92. |

What a great day. A visit to Lambeau; Reggie's number retired; Favre
passed for his 50,000 yard; The Browns win; and I got to take it all in
with Keith. |

Thanks to Stan for helping me
