Yet, somehow also I think they have to find a way to keep Norwood and Dockery.
No, I don't see Norwood being cut, either and I think David Sims has earned a roster spot.

OK, yes I would think Norwood would be kept.....but who goes in his stead?
One of the D-lineman. We do not need 10 of them on the roster. I could see Schaefering and Sanford gone and could see Norwood and Ben Jacobs on the team.
Plus, instead of Paxson, who has been hurt all camp, I think we keep Ronnie Cameron.
Or we keep Cameron and Paxson, and use Jacobs while Fujita is suspended before moving him the the PS.

I think getting rid of Norwood would be like Schottenheimer letting Wes Welker go when he was Chargers coach, I honestly think Norwood would be that good if he was used more by Shurmur.Browns cant afford to release WR's that can actually catch the ball, but Shurmur doesnt seem to use him enough so maybe he does get released hope not though as he will be snapped up and we will regret it.

maybe one of the five tight ends listed, or one of the five running backs, or one or the four quarterbacks, or one of the seven defensive ends, or one of the seven d tackles, or one of the six safeties...etc etc

Norwood needs to stay. period. how Travis Benjamin is ahead of him on the depth chart is beyond me.

Norwood is on the team. Cooper is close... hope for a good game from him on Thursday!
me too. be cool if Cooper could stick as well. he's able to contribute some on Specials as well. more than C. Mitchell did and he hung around 2 years. that comment means very little today, just saying.

I only had them keeping 4 TEs and 3 RBs

Count on Smelley earning a roster spot. David Sims has flashed some. I think Alex Smith is out IMO.
The only problem is that Alex Smith is the only one of the healthy TEs that can BLOCK!!
That is why he has received so much playing time. Ben Watson can block, but he has been hurt.
Evan Moore is a good receiver, but a poor blocker. And right now Cameron Jordan (or is it Jordan Cameron) is too raw and green to actually be doing anything he is supposed to at a high level. But they are still high on him and I am sure he will be kept.

At mimimum Cooper will be kept on the practice squad, if not the regular roster.
