Man this guy is just horrible....the worst thing he could have done at the plate in the 9th today and he finds a way to accomplish that....he needs to be benched
If you truly are a Tribe fan don't insult our players. It's one thing to say a guy doesn't have it, but to call him a bum is a bit much. He's a high character guy and at times has shown potential. I do agree he hasn't lived up to expectations, but he's won a few games for us. You have to understand that with players like this, you never know. They can turn out to be a guy like Kipnis or Choo...or Valbuena or Phelps. Sometimes prospects pan out and sometimes they don't. As far as Laporta, I'd put him somewhere in the middle. He's better than Valbuena and Phelps, but not as good as Kipnis. Sometimes in a clutch situation he can be a bit too cautious with his hitting, but almost all of his homers have come in the 7-9 innings. He can't really handle the pressure yet, but that's something he'll get used to and hopefully turn out to be the power hitter we all want.
