calfoxwc
those dumb sombeitches. They can go to hell and get it for me. We are transferring our ATT phones over to Tmobile. So, we had to pay off my I6. So, we did, and ended our service contract. NOW, they won't unlock my phone, because we didn't pay off the balance on the phone. We say, YES we DID. so, I get a case #, I call back the two days later they say it takes, and I find out they closed the case number because.... the phone isn't paid off. So, I call again, and they say the phone isn't paid off, and there isn't any way to unlock my phone, until we pay off the balance. I get real testy and say they had better find somebody who knows what they are doing the next time I call. I call back, explain everything to a guy who finally was smart enough to figure out that the payment our bank send electronically... was put toward our service contract. Which, is canceled. So, on our service contract, which is CANCELLED, WE HAVE NO SERVICE.... NO OPEN BILLING BALANCE.... we get a -423 dollar credit on our service contract. which, is closed. seriously? I have no service. and I can't go to Tmobil, because the sim card can't work because ATT still has my phone locked. So, they gave me another case #. yesterday. Today, I call in, they say that case # was closed... BECAUSE THE PHONE ISN"T PAID OFF THOSE DUMBASSES. So, now, I tell the guy I want my phone unlocked TODAY, it isn't OUR Fault for this confusion. He says there is nothing he can do, but yesterday was the end of the billing cycle. So, I get made and I say, "ISN'T THAT WHEN MY PHONE WOULD BE UNLOCKED ???" He said yes....but sometimes it takes until you actually get your bill mailed to you, which could be in about ...sometime within two weeks. So, I get mad and ask to see his supervisor, who is "supposed to call me back in fifteen minutes". So help me, if he says there's nothing he can do, I'm asking for HIS supervisor, and I'm going to give him a chance to unlock my phone, get me to tech support so we can get my phone unlocked manually or something.... but it had better be unlocked today, we've been going through this for whole week. I may have to call the ohio attorney general's office. )O)*(^(*&)(**&TU{
calfoxwc
still not unlocked. They say the system has to unlock it after the bill is technically created and sent out...and then they can put in a request to their "system"... and then a couple days later, they get a reply and it gives them an unlock code, then they can send it to me... and they can go to hell. Meanwhile, Tmobile sent me a phone yesterday that will get here today, I can use it til att asswipes UNLOCK my phone. morons.
The Gipper
I have just been eating a pile of shit from ATT myself these past several days. Maybe time to switch to a new provider.

calfoxwc
finally got pretty mad and called up cust. support, insisted that I talk to a supervisor's supervisor. a supervisor came on, and after an hour, she had contacted the dept that takes days to handle unlocking phones, etc.... and got it done in twenty minutes. Then it took a half hour to download Itunes, back up my phone, THEN I put the sim chip in... success. It took one week, two days, maybe.... ten long phones, ... I like Tmobile. They don't mess around. They say their system lets them fix that type of problem immediately. I'm good. but I was really getting po'd.
One Post
Get a Jitterbug Cal. Lmao Yep been thru plenty of money and stress over contract phones. Now it's the go phone deal for me, as for my wife her contract is ok. It's when you have multiple lines and data it's bullshit. I pay for enough data for the home and my wife's plan I'm happy with my little flip phone. News Flash, you don't have to have the Internet 24/7. calfoxwc
I had a flip phone, but kids of our friends kept laughing about how I have so much trouble trying to text back to them. So, the Wife insisted I get an IPhone6. Now I'm lost without it. But if those kids think I'm downloading snapchat whatever... nope.

Yes my wife might text me something to grab at the store or to remind me. Maybe a happy birthday whatever. Now mind you texting is a great way to communicate but not conversate. If you want to talk just call. It irks me to see a grown man texting like a 12 yr old girl.

mjp28
Years back we had flip phones like DieHard's they were great 7 1/2 years old original batteries got rid of them for 3G phones and now 4G smart phones which we love -but- newer cheaper high tech phones just don't last. Oh they cost a fortune to replace too. I remember many stories with the flip phones when we thought my nurse wife killed hers like dropping hers in a sinks full of water, quit working, just dried it out and it would come back to life. Wouldn't try that today.
