I'm just at a total loss for words to what it's going to take for the Browns to not be on the losing side of these games week after week and season after season. Hoyer played pretty damn good today but had a chance to win the game and made a bad throw. The defense had two awesome turnovers but gave up at the end. The only thing I can wrap my head around is that the Browns have a culture of losing. The players out there have it in their heads that they are going to lose and do. I mean honestly what else can it be?

I completely agree with everything you said. We just seem to find ways to lose, week after week. How does a guy wide open, 10 yards behind

the defense, fall down? After a big interception, first down at the 30. On another drive, first and goal at the 9. And we find a way to fuck it up.

Every time.

Between our defense being one of the worst, if not the worst in the league, and Shanny's questionable play calling - seemingly out of nowhere during a game - we are not going to win more than we lose. Throw in awful special teams, and it's a horrific trifecta.

It's honestly like they spin a "how do we lose this game" wheel before each game. Is it going to be a dropped pass? Is it going to be a easy missed field goal? Is it going to be a defender slipping? Is a guy going to randomly fall down on a wide open TD pass which results in no points? And the list goes on and on every season. My only thought is that losing breeds losing. The players are going out there thinking they are going to lose and they do when it matters. I have no other explanation. There's that video about the odds being this bad consistently are staggering, but it has to be true man.

Hoyer was very good today. Haden is still on his summer holidays.

I've been saying it for years Haden is not an elite cb. He gets beat at the end of games all the time. The other teams pick on him.

He's an ok cb and maybe even a little above average. But when it's crunch time he fails way way way too much

They definitely had a chance to turn the culture of losing. A good team rams TDs into the endzone after a turnover. A good team doesn't have a WR fall and then get a FG blocked. Those 2 series resulted in a shaky 21-17 lead, which could have been 35-17 lead.

Plus, year after year, we let Flacco go into the locker room with the cleanest game jersey. The Browns missed the memo that 30 other NFL teams got....put heat on Flacco & you win.

No sacks and only 3 qb pressures, and 1 of those was the pick. Terrible job by the defense at getting to the QB

Hoyer played good today.

That trick play to Manzel was pretty cool.

if Haden is an elite CB in the league then someone should tell the the opposing QB's around the league so they quit making him look like an ass every week.

You guys who are blaming this on Hoyer are absolutely ridiculous. If we make just one of the field goals then the ravens have to get in the endzone on that last drive and who knows what happens. Hoyer has been very stellar in the three games thus far. I hope the browns coaching staff can see this unlike some of you.

That "cool trick play" was illegal from its concept. There was no reason on earth to switch to Little League ball, when we were running it so well, and using that to play action pass so well....... No reason at all. Shanny needs to figure out this offense's identity and do it quickly. We have an outstanding 1-2 punch in West & Crowell, and a QB that has yet to throw a pick in 3 games. Doesn't take a genius, does it?

Fuckin' trick plays....SMH

hoyer has been solid. The offensive play calling has been questionable. The defense could be coached alot better

Exactly. Hoyer isn't the problem.

The defense is aweful. They continue to get burned on misdirection plays, and they still have tackling issues. And when the game is on the line, just look for whoever Joe Haden is on and throw it there because he continues to get burned.

the only statistic that counts is scoring more points than the other team....the good teams average about 28 points a game.....obviously some times they exceed that and sometimes they score less....but if you can average 28 points a game over the season you will likely make the playoffs....

that said...it always sucks to lose the close ones.....
