Since today is Presidents Day, here is some President's day Travel Trivia. See if you can give a few answers:

1. If you stay in Williamsburgand take a ride down nearby route 5, you will come upon Plantations that were the homes/birthplaces of 2 different Presidents. Which two?
2. If you stay in central Vermont you are only minutes away from the home of a President who was sworn into office at this home by his father, a notary public. Which President?
3. If you stay in Gatlinburg TN, you are only about 50 miles southwest of a President's home in Greenville Tn. Which President?

Tippecanoe and Tyler Too. William Henry Harrison was born on the Berkely Plantation. His VP, John Tyler built his home, the Sherwood Forest Plantation just down the Road.
2. If you stay in central Vermont you are only minutes away from the home of a President who was sworn into office at this home by his father, a notary public. Which President?
Calvin Coolidge was sworn in as President by his father at his home in Plymouth Vermont after the death of Warren G. Harding.
3. If you stay in Gatlinburg TN, you are only about 50 miles southwest of a President's home in Greenville Tn. Which President?
Andrew Johnson whose home and Tailor shop are a national monument.
4. In New York City if you visit, you will find that one and only one President was born in NYC, and one and only one President is buried in NYC. Which are these two Presidents?
The only Prez born in NYC: Theodore Roosevelt. The only Prez buried: Grant.
5. If you staynear Gettysburg PA, you will find the home of a President who had his home built over part of the Gettysburg Battlefield. Which President?
Eisenhower. Recall this from a couple of years ago: Right at the Gettysburg Battle site was a WWI army Training Base called Camp Colt. The commander of that base was Eisenhower. He liked the area so much he bought a farm that was on part of the base.

Lyndon Johnson whose boyhood home and his LBJ Ranch are both in Johnson city TX
