They'll look for someone who can score off the dribble (ironically, Delonte can). I'd assume Jamison, Hickson, and Williams are keepers and starters. That leave the 2 and 5 open. The only catch would be his legal troubles...and his bi-polar disorder. Why get rid of him when he is such a talent? I'm with you. I always thought that if West was more of a featured scorer in an offense without LeBron that he could be very effective. Two years ago before his problems flared he was our second most effective scorer and playmaker. He's a very gritty defender too and plays longer than his height. At the press conference today though Grant made it sound like West was going to be cut. Not being a homer or anything, just the overall feel of the situation of the NBA as a whole. But you know what I LOVE GILBERT. Why do the Cavs need to be punished for the asshole actions of a few players. F*ck LeBron. I have a new affinity for Gilbert and MY Cavs. I will be at more games this season and support my team 100%. We need to go in the other direction- think young guys- like it or not, the Cavs are in a rebuild mode. Grant Hill is a clone of Jamison, so is McGrady for that matter- with less production BTW- we don't need them. We're still OK at power forward. Don't forget about Leon Powe. Iverson's 35, at the end of the road with no better current production than Mo Williams. Center? I'll still take Shaq for limited minutes if he'll work vet minimum, but I have the feeling he'll do that- in Miami- to chase one more ring.
