The Snopes article on this story also brings up the good point that a lot of these links reference nothing from the school, police, etc. Just a pissed off parent. How does a comment about the desert "brownies" end up being reported to the police as a racial incident? Do you have reports from the school district, teacher, witnesses and the police department? Or does the account of one angry parent only count? In one of the links a parent said the same thing happened to her kid because he was rough housing with a friend. It was a stupid policy enacted because the school district didn't report an actual crime previously (what I read). So now EVERYTHING goes to the police.
