Lol what.

 

This article is a joke just by the way it's written, I have no doubt burning weed and inhaling it into your lungs can increase the risk of cancer - but that's never really been a secret.

 

This just makes it sound so scary by talking about fancy genetic mutations.

If this study is in fact true, and pot is dangerous, it would make it MORE like alcohol...

Yea but it would be considered worse if it permanently alters your DNA and only affects your offspring. Even a previous pothead father would create a mutated child with a mother who's normal - according to this study.

 

This study says smoking weed causes permanent DNA mutations for your children, their children, etc. Alcohol just fucks up the person consuming it - and a child ofc if that person is pregnant.

 

I don't buy it, Bob Marley's kids seem to have turned out fine.

Needs way more info. Im open to the science though, but what illnesses....under what corcumstances. Exactly how does it pass down to children etc, etc. Its like the article was deliberately vague, dropping all these hot charged words but delivering nothing

 

Their talking about gene mutations causing cancer, in the circumstance where you use cannabis.

 

When you have intercourse with a lady, your sperm contains DNA - and the lady has DNA, which is how it passes down to children (according to the study)

Btw alcohol must also do something at the genetic level because alcoholism is absolutely pasef down. I know so many people who wont snd cant touch a drop of it because every family member that did went flying down the slope shortly thereafter

 

Alcohol doesn't alter your genetics, but alcoholics tend to have more emotional problems and such which can be influenced by genetic traits therefore passed down to children.

Also, alcoholics probably don't make great parents in general. Neither do pot smokers, I'm guessing.

This is different though because carcinogens are just affecting living tissue. This study is saying that weed permanently alters your genes and your offspring and such are affected. So if I used to smoke weed every day but haven't in 10 years, then I knock up a broad - the mutation will live in that child and such and such.
