manbearpig
Buh Bye! Good coach during regular season! Bad coach in post season. How do you have so much talent and get your ass handed to you every year? Mike Brown = FAIL

Who to replace him with though?

cambridgeho
Gilbert will probably go after Jackson, but he is way too expensive at this time, I think 10 titles will be plenty for him. Its hard to get a College coach thats really good becuase it really messes up what they have built as a program, if it didn't work out in the pros then what for them. I would personally like Thad Matta or Tom Izzo, they both have been around a long time and year in and year out players actually want to play for them. They have great NBA styles as coaches. I dont want someone elses garbage from the NBA either, we just got rid of last years coach of the year. Its so hard to say who we will get but as each day passes the 5 coaching vacancy spots will be filling up. It will be hard to get a coach to come here if they know he is leaving though. This is where I have to say F-U LeBron, stay or go, you're already screwing the Cavs over with your ego trip. Say the magic words, and the Cavs can get any coach they want. Why would any "name" coach want to commit to the Cavs, when their all world player isn't willing to do the same? Phil Jackson's probably unlikely- but as to the rest of the NBA "retreads" did Mike Woodson or Byron Scott have anywhere near the talent Mike Brown had at his disposal? LOL, Avery Jonson talks funny, don't want him- and he's a playoff bust too. As to the college ranks- forget Calipari, great recruiter- but what did his boys do in the NCAA? IMHO, if you go college ranks- you go Mike Krzyzewski- and he says he doesn't want the job. Done everything you can accomplish at the college level, good friends with Ferry, knows how to coach pros- (last Olympic team) and gets along with LeBron (unlike Larry Brown). PS- I'll take Motta if we get Evan Turner as a package deal- not happening.
nobuo
@ Coach K. He doesn't want to coach anyone else but Duke, so it's nothing against the Cavs or not that he doesn't want to coach Lebron. He has had opportunities to coach several teams in the NBA and turned them down.
how2group
Pat Riley would be great but he is part owner of the heat I don't think he would want to leave.
Kosar_For_President
LeBron will be back. This years collective bargaining agreement says the Cavs can pay him the most of any team. Plus they have a good team in place. He'll be back.

Plus they have a good team in place. He'll be back. We can only offer him around 1.5 mill a year more than another team, but we can we can offer 1 more year than anybody else. Since he's probably only looking for a 3 year deal thats irrelevant. If he went to a larger market he could make up for that 1.5 mill easily in marketing and merchandise. I beleave Phil Jackson is married to or has dated the Lakers owners daughter for a while, I doubt he'd be willing to leave LA unless there relationship went sour. I say we go after Bob Knight, he would've lit a fire under the teams ass in the playoffs

BrownB499
I'd like some consideration for Bill Lambeer Guy was a total azz when he was part of the Bad Boys but, he knows what it takes to win, and I'm well aware there's a huge difference between the gals & guys...ooops & dunks vs. X's & O's If a guy can win 3 WNBA title...I think he knows how to coach X's & O's May be too strong a personality for his Highness...there's know doubt who's in charge if Bill's the coach but if LeBron bolts I think he'd be a good choice to build with.
