  1. 1. How Many Yards Will Trent Richardson Rush For In 2012?

Well,

"Ray Rice-Ravens Last year Rice posted some impressive numbers rushing for 1364 yards, 12 TDs"

and Ray Rice is no Trent Richardson. @@

There will be games where he gets over 90 yards a HALF.

If yer goin to be optimistic, by dang, go for it. I wish I were still consulting - for every time TR made

PollyMallouisaGirlieMan look silly, I would have donated 50 bucks to a tailgate. This next season is going to be special.

I GUARANTEE he will rush for 2,000 yards in 2012.

Let me say it again.... I guarantee he will rish for 2,000 yards in 2012.

Is he as good as Jim Brown, and Ernie Davis? Yes, he is.

YOu got an NFL who all believe teh Browns can't run, you have a world class LT to run teh sweep, you have a guy who can turn shit into shinola, inside or out, and you have a QB who when he rolls right, or feints at play action, WILL freeze teh defense to react.

Add to this that Weeden and ichardson will take a little slice of the defensive pressure off of little and Cribbs, and the Browns will have an explosive offense.

Richardson will rush for 2000 yards.

You trollin' ghoolie. There's no way he gets 2000 yards in his rookie season. No way.

Browns Luck = Tears patellar tendon in first practice, never plays for the Browns. Ki-Jana Carter II, how about Montario Hardesty? . Just sayin'. Until the games count- I have Richardson penciled in for zero yards.

I voted for 500-999, but can see over 1000. Teams will be stacking the box against the Browns. He's essentially a known commodity. Until Weeden can make defenses pay for loading the box, they will be playing to stop Trent. I think he'll average right around 60 yards a game. A little more, and he'll be over 1000, but I think he'll be somewhere between 900 and 1000.

The key for Trent is Weeden doing well.

I can't believe you stopped the poll before 3,000 yards... I'm saying 3000 Yards for T-3000, this muthafucka's gonna terminate the Defense!

I think teams will learn in the 1st preseason game that weeden will make you pay if you try and stack the box. We will have a very balanced attack this year. Sure teams will still try and stack the box some and pretty much dare weeden to beat them, but Brandons the real deal and unlike Q.B's of the past he will make them respect the Browns passing game very early on. I have high hopes for the O this year cant wait for the season to start!!

This is going to sound a little weird, but go with me here.

Not many teams put too much stock in how well players do in the preseason (meaning, if a player goes lights out in a game, that's not exactly a sure bet that he'll go lights out in the regular season). Colt Brennan in the Hall of Fame Game a few years back and John Beck in his preseason games last year can attest to that. Beck looked like an actual NFL quarterback in the preseason, but he absolutely sucked in the regular season.

I'm not saying that's going to happen with Weeden, but he'll need to prove it in the regular season before teams actually respect what he can do.

Shoot you can say that about Colt McCoy last year too. He lit up the Green Bay starting defense in the first preseason game. He went 9/10 with over 100 yards (can't remember the exact number) and a touchdown.

So everyone immediately thought, "wow, Colt McCoy might be the real deal. He did that against the starting defense of the defending Super Bowl Champions."

Turns out McCoy wasn't that great and neither was the Packers defense.

yeah until someone can catch the ball teams will be keying on TR. even so i see 1200 APYs.

I can easily see 1200 APY too. I thought we were just talking about rushing yards though.

~900 rushing, ~300 receiving.

no way will teams be able to stack the box anymore. Defenses WILL have to respect the downfield throw or the dumpoff to the TE if they try to stack it.

Teams don't need to respect anything until the Browns can prove they can do it. They know the Browns can run the ball, and that Trent is a good runner. The Browns receivers need to show that defenses need to respect them before teams will stop stacking the box. They are, as of now, still unproven.

I like your thinking, and am ecstatic about taking Richardson. About time we figured scoring wins games. He likely will be way below 2000 yards but 1500 seems very attainable assuming Weeden finds some receivers to D's honest and plays up to the hype

I know what your sayin, still teams will get the hint very early on...

as for T.R. i can see him going for 1300 rushing and 350 receiving 15 total TDs

Also the O will benefit greatly from his pass blocking

Come tell me about it in January.

The NFL today is easy to make huge statistics in. The level of discipline today is so lx, this kid may very well have 1200 yards after 5 games.

2,000 yards is guaranteed. I will project him at 28 touchdowns, as well.

Are you saying 2000+ rushing or 2000+ rushing and receiving combined?

He'll get 2000 yards in year 2 perhaps?....though, is it fair to say that the NWCO is not necessarily designed to be a runningbackcentric offense? That could limit his yardage somewhat.

I'll monkey wrench your party, watch our WCO calling last year we're gonna be more than a 60/40 pass run this year, look for Rich to get 1500-2000 all purpose yards but not a straight out 2000 yard rushing season.

If you believe he rushes for 2k in a west coast system lay the crack pipe down hand me all your vegas cash and let me wager on something a little safer then the white funkadelic that you are hitting there. No RB dropped 2k in a WCO ever don't expect it when our defense is gonna be on the field 70% of the time.
