Ben Tate Browns currently offering a 3rd round pick to the Texans (Not Deleting this until he signs somewhere regardless of what MKC says)

Kam Wim The Browns want to fill a need and need to come to terms on an honest contract (Could play out of the market if we shoot to low)

Eric Winston Starting RT hasnt missed 6 seasons, same deal as Kam we need to come to terms on a contract with him that gives Fair Market Value.

*UPDATED 3/14/12* The Browns jumped into the free agency pool with a ripple, not a big splash Wednesday, when defensive end Frostee Rucker signed a five-year contract worth $21 million. The deal includes $8 million guaranteed to the former Bengal, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquire.

*UPDATED 3/14/12* XMatt FylnnX Reportedly offered contract by the Browns---So, in the end -- if this is, actually, the end -- the Cleveland Browns will not land free-agent wonder boy Matt Flynn and never pursued his services, despite the rumors.

This is what we learned Wednesday morning, when The Plain Dealer addressed the Flynn gossip.

"#Browns have not pursued (former Packers backup QB) Matt Flynn and reports that they're set to make offer untrue, league source tells PD," tweeted Mary Kay Cabot, the team's beat writer.

This collides with information on Tuesday from the South Florida Sun Sentinel, which painted a picture of the Browns and the Miami Dolphins "exchanging contract offers with" Flynn, according to a source.

NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora views the Browns among the best possibilities for the man who backed up Aaron Rodgers for four seasons and dazzled in his two NFL starts, but pursuing Flynn as your starter is another matter.

Flynn is expected to command Kevin Kolb dough (somewhere between $7 million and $8 million a season), but the mere mention of Kolb is troubling. Flynn has thrown 132 passes EVER in the NFL (granted, nine of them for touchdowns).

Browns general manager Tom Heckert has maintained that Cleveland will not send shockwaves through the league in free agency. Unless he's blowing smoke, it appears Flynn is headed elsewhere, and the Browns are staying put with Colt McCoy -- or eyeing the draft for his competition.

Browns lure Frostee Rucker away from division rival Bengals

Posted by Evan Silva on March 14, 2012, 3:09 PM EDT

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith is sacked by Cincinnati Bengals' Frostee Rucker and Jonathan Fanene during the second half of play in their NFL football game Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati Reuters

Citing a league source, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns will sign defensive end Frostee Rucker today.

Contract details are unavailable. Rucker, a former third-round pick out of USC, tallied career highs in tackles (33) and sacks (four) last season with the Bengals. He started 11-of-16 games.

The Browns haven’t had a premier pass rusher in quite some time. Rucker is unlikely to be the answer, but he could help as a rotational rusher off the bench.

The Browns are starting to piss me off again

Listen to Booms drunken rant of how this is a Tax Write off team and why we never see our owner, why we don't spend big money in FA, and why winning in Cleveland will not happen. Drunk or not he only stated facts LIVE on the air, when the fuck are we going to wake up? who knows
