When I graduated from HS at age 17 within a few weeks I was working at a factory and had my own apt. Of course a big reason for that was being told I had to obey the "house rules" and pay rent while I was living at home. I put up with that for 2 long weeks lol...

well, they don't think anything is their responsibility, it's someone else's. Life to them, is a liberal fairy tale..

with the emphasis on "fairy".

I wasn't being sarcastic haha. Act like big boys and girls then you can make big boy and girl decisions that effect everyone else.

Can that go both ways? Can clueless, senile old people not get to vote?

Now I will get responses on how I'm attacking old people, while this thread was started to go after youth. I hope when I'm older I avoid the 'your generation isn't as good as mine!" nonsense

You've offered up that opinion at least a few times before.

And I think I agreed if anyone who is senile shouldn't vote. Or illiterate or stupid. Probably destitute too.

Sure. At that point, they start getting as self interested at the voting booth as your average 19 year old who feels the Bern. "I know we are living to be 90+ but don't you dare adjust retirement age!"
