choco
isnt the plan obvious? cause if its pissing you off, try paying attention. we're already saying by signing parker and rucker that RDE will be address either late in the draft, or next year. these guys create a rotation with schaefering to maintain the DL this year. why would they do this you ask? offensive draft. Tour2ma
Be wary... It is far from a given that Tate's zone-blocking scheme success in Houston would translate to us.
BrownIndian
Be wary... It is far from a given that Tate's zone-blocking scheme success in Houston would translate to us. The fact that Tate is a better runner than any we have now and the fact that we NEED a good RB for a decent price are reason enough for us to take a risk. Any RB's zone-blocking scheme may or may not translate with us. But we need an RB and we need a good one.

Harry Buffalo
Well he looks like he is better than Fujita is, has been healthy the past 3 seasons, and if fast and athletic which is something we have been missing at the OLB spot. Plus other teams are going after him too including the Packers so he must bring something to the table.

I was just about to get excited because these are exactly the free agents we need to sign... Fill a hole, still young, wont break the bank or ruin future plans with a long term contract... I have a ton of patience and trust in H&H, but come on, lets "be interested" at least in a couple decent, low risk free agents to fill some holes... http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2012/03/cleveland_browns_reportedly_pu.html

Now they are saying LB Jonathan Goff from the Giants is coming to Cleveland to visit. The Giants are also actively trying to resign him. 5th round pick out of Vanderbilt in 2008. Didn't play last year from a torn ACL he suffered right before the season started but was expected to take over as the starting MLB.

Low risk, and even if he doesnt play a whole lot he comes from a very successful defense and would hopefully be a good leader for our defense.. Would rather go after someone with more upside like Lawson, but we desperately need LB depth and preferably another starter.
4Browns
It sounds like some present and former Saints players (Fujita?) may be getting suspensions and fines for the bounty program. Possibly this is spurring some interest from the Browns for another linebacker. I swear the Dolans bought the Browns and nobody announced it. Now we are interested in a guy who missed the entire season due last year to a blown out knee? Only in Cleveland... and we'll be millions under the cap again. Laughable, if it weren't so sad for us fans.
