Here is this week's NFL trivia. Give your answers:

1. There have been 3 players named to a record 14 Pro Bowls in NFL history. Name these 3 players.

Merlin Olsen, Bruce Matthews, Tony Gonzales

2. Only 2 players have been the 3 time MVP of the Pro Bowl. Name these 2 players.

Jim Brown and Gale Sayers

(these days no one could ever win 3 PB MVP awards because no one would want to play in that game 3 times)

3. What do these names signify: Baldinger, Anderson, Brock, Griffin, Houston, Chesley, Gronkowski, Karras, Geathers, Harmon, Kinderdine, Montgomery, Morton, Noga, Olsen, Poole, Rooney, Wonsley, Trufant, Thomas, Richardson, Saul, Zendejas, Zoll, Browner, Nesser.

These are the last names of familys that had THREE OR MORE brothers play in the NFL Just a few notes: A. yes, the Griffin family is Archie and brothers. Gronkowskis had 3 TEs. The Olsens are not Merlin and bros, but another Olsen clan. Rooney is not the Art Rooney clan. The Browners had 4 brothers, and the Nessers had 6 brothers back in the 203/30s. Zendajas were all kickers. Karras is Alex Karras (Mongo) and brothers.

4. Name those Head Coaches who are in the Top 20 all time in career victories that are active this year.

Belichick, Coughlin, Fisher.

Other current top 20 in wins that could theoretically come back to coach are Mike Shanahan, Cowher, Holmgren

5. Who is known as the Father of American Football as he drafted the first set of rules?

Walter Camp

6. Which team won the only regular season NFL game held in the Akron Rubber Bowl?

The Home team Dallas Texans defeated the Chicago Bears 27-23.

Since the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans are playing this week, do you think the NFL may agree to switch that game to the Rubber Bowl? (now not even being used by Akron U)

7. How many plays did the Broncos run in "The Drive"?

15 plays. They began the Drive on their own 2 yard line with 5:32 left in the game, and scored with :31 left. Those 15 plays took 5:01. The worst of course was when the Browns had them with a 3rd and 18, but the Broncos got a first down.

And yes....Bob806....Karlis missed.

8. The first overtime game ever played in the regular season of the National Football League was played in Sept. 1974 between the Steelers and the Broncos. How did that game end?

It was a 35-35 tie.

9. What was the shortest OT game in NFL history?

TEBOW Time......the Broncos defeated the Steelers with only 11 seconds gone on the game clock.

The Pro Football HOF has that game as the shortest OT game in history, and it was a playoff game. Shortest regular season game, per the PFHOF is the 14 seconds it took the Jets to beat the Bills in a game.

10. Who holds the Browns record for the longest run from scrimmage?

Bobby Mitchell had a 90 yard run on 11/15/1959.

The longest runs in NFL history are the Tony Dorsett 99 yard run for the Cowboys, Ahman Green had a 98 yard run for the Packers, and Bobby Gage had a 97 yard run for the Steelers back in 1949.

11. Name all those nicknames in NFL history that a team from Cleveland proper has had.

Browns, Rams, Indians, Bulldogs and the one that was missed: Tigers.

12. Only 8 men in now 94 years have ever held the title of NFL league President/Commissioner. Name as many of those men as you can.

In order:

Jim Thorpe 1 year

Joe Carr 18 years

Carl Storck 3 years

Elmer Layden 5 years

Bert Bell 13 years

Pete Rozelle 29 years

Paul Tagliabue 17 years

Roger Goodell 8 years so far.....and no, I don't expect him to lose his job any time soon.
