  1. Yep, Dorsey is killin' it. That's still a steal for OBJ. GO BROWNS!!!
  2. What a moronic take. Probably your worst in some time...and that's saying something. GO BROWNS!!!
  3. Tolland, CT...right down the street from UConn, the Capital of College Basketball.
  4. My opinion: Manziel doesn't have what it takes to be an effective quarterback in the NFL. He's not a very accurate passer. In the NFL you have to hit open receivers; Manziel has made a quick career of missing them. He's too short to see over the O-Line. That wasn't as debilitating at A&M because Manziel just chucked jump balls to Evans when he couldn't see. That doesn't work in the NFL. He can't control his behavior off the field. A QB is the face of an NFL franchise. Manziel's face is covered in greasepaint. Is he exciting when he scrambles? You bet. Is he going to win in the NFL? Hell no. The quarterback search continues...
  5. What a disaster. If this pseudo-talent (JFF) can't keep his cool when he's getting heckled by a drunken idiot, how is he going to keep his head when the blitz is coming? Sad to witness the Browns having to live through the results of this absolutely horrendous round 1 draft decision. I just hope that McCown doesn't get injured.
  6. Douche. He's gonna get wrecked by this league.
  7. What if Johnny Manziel realized that he signed a contract paying him over $8 million that sets him up for life but if he can't perform on the field the contract goes "poof"? I've got nothing against some punk-ass draftee getting his ya-ya's out, but stay the fuck out of the god damn limelight. The fact that Browns players are sick and tired of answering Johnny Manziel questions and not questions about themselves or the Browns is ridiculous. I guarantee that Terrance West, Joel Bitonio and Justin Gilbert will be way, way more important to the success of the Browns this year than Juan Fuckin' Football. I don't get why this guy is all the rage. He hasn't done shit in the NFL, and from what I've seen of his tape at A&M I'm not convinced that he WILL do shit in the NFL. His ability to read defenses is mediocre, his accuracy is mediocre, and his football IQ is mediocre. He's got heart and instinct, I'll grant him that - but until I see that translate into wins in the NFL he doesn't have jack shit. A good college QB - sure. A good NFL QB...not so fast. An exciting scrambler? I cringe when I think of him surveying the defense, giving a quick look to his checkdown, and then "blink" he's off scrambling for 4 yards - and a hard thump from some head-hunting linebacker. There's nothing that I've seen or heard that makes me think that he's a much more mobile version of Brandon Weedon. I hope that I'm wrong.
  8. Quinn IS a douche. If Manziel stares into a full-length mirror he will probably see Ken Stabler and Joe Namath staring back at him. Good. Because if Manziel brings two Super Bowl trophies to Cleveland I'll hold down TCPO's goldfish for JF's pleasure.
  9. I've got more faith in Pettine than Manziel. Pettine's got NFL pedigree. Manziel...he's got to show something. A LOT of something. For some reason I get some nasty Colt McCoy flashbacks when I think of Manziel setting-up under center.
  10. IMHO, I think Joe Thomas is the face of the franchise for those that most closely follow the team. Gordon was about to take the torch, but he burned his fingers sparking up a fattie. On a national level, Manziel is the NOISE of the franchise. He is giving the Browns a voice because of the huge amount of media attention he TMZ-demands, whereas in the recent past the Browns have been the quiet kid in the corner. True fact.
  11. I agree with some here that Romo would be an immediate upgrade and, perhaps, offer the Browns a legit chance to make the playoffs. However, Romo has shown an uncanny ability to, um, "mis-play" the game in big moments. That skill, coupled with his back surgery, makes me run away from him as fast as I can.
  12. Bortles over Manziel all day long. 6-3 230 big arm, nice touch, good accuracy beats 5-11 200 running-for-his-life, throwing jump balls into traffic, getting broken in-half by a cornerback blitz.
