Just noticed that the two leagues I'm in...

Interesting.

Calfoxwc, I notified DaBuckeye about this almost two weeks ago and asked him to move to draft up half an hour but was ignored. The board admins should start setting the drafts automatically for the last Sunday before the first game and making them start at least one hour apart. I had the same problem last year. And look at the problems with league 3 this year. Glad I dumped that mess.

BTW Zombo if you want me to take over league 3 NEXT year I will.

Not that hard to do two drafts at once. I have an elaborate war room with grades and projections all over the wall and I could do two at once. So you guys just picking from the Yahoo rankings should be fine.

Well, I ain't as good (at multi-tasking) as I once was...but I am good once, as I ever was.........(Toby Keith country song).

I intend to win both leagues - I need to add to my virtual trophy collection.

Which is not very big... but my once brilliant, heroic win in that one league - the first time

I was ever in a Brownsboard fantasy league.... is my favorite.

BROWNS BOARD LEAGUE 2 DRAFT IS SET FOR 4:30 EST (1:30 PST).

Great. Just saw this about 5. Tried clicking on "go now"...and it won't come up,
I keep getting a blank white screen.
And the test said it was fine. What the? I've tried it about 5 times.

So, what the hell happened to the draft that it went to 430?

Now, I have ben barfsonhisburgerrapist as the qb because it drafted for me......

Somebody trade with me quick. I'll take McCown, Thad Lewis,....best trade,

any trade... that dirtbag goes off my team.

I can't have squealer squids on my team. They suck.

i don't know what happened cal. yahoo posts times in pst. when i first reset the time to today at 4:30, i didn't realize that THAT was 4:30 pst. so i reset it again after seeing a post of yours here and posted a message here AND sent one through yahoo reminding people of it.

about not being able to get into the draft.....there was a spot on the right side of the page saying 'cal kosardawgs has joined' then seconds later it showed you leaving. so you were on it and i guess you didn't know it and just kept going in and out.

well, I was disgusted,.... LOL... every time, it would show the initial screen, then

it would go to the white screen and lock in there til I closed the screen altogether.

Weird, it did it with the Brownsboard 4 league, so I went to our other computer,

and it was fine.

And thanks to Warpo who traded with me so I could get rid of rothlicksboogerapist off my team

quickly. He would have been a locker room cancer. LOL.

ah well. My other draft went well, we'll see.

Not sure why the rush... you could have dealt with me for a shot at Rogers instead of upgrading Mr. RB's QB situation...

sorry about that, Tour. I would have liked to have Rodgers, but Warp was quick to trade, and

that's what I wanted. I didn't want that steeler scum on my team one more second. Sorry bout that.

A man has got to stick to his principles.... and I was busy on the farm workin...

I got graded a B in the League IV draft held sunday night.

Only thing that pissed me off was the system froze momentarily and it chosthe s defense for me way earlier than I would choose a defense.

I usually pick defense last and just play matchups each week.

Plus I cut Flacco, because I don't do Ravens.

1. (4) Jamaal Charles (KC - RB)

2. (21) LeSean McCoy (Buf - RB)
3. (28) T.Y. Hilton (Ind - WR)
4. (45) Peyton Manning (Den - QB)
5. (52) Brandon Marshall (NYJ - WR)
6. (69) Sammy Watkins (Buf - WR)
7. (76) C.J. Spiller (NO - RB)
8. (93) St. Louis (StL - DEF)
9. (100) Larry Fitzgerald (Ari - WR)
10. (117) Ryan Mathews (Phi - RB)
11. (124) Delanie Walker (Ten - TE)
12. (141) Brian Quick (StL - WR)
13. (148) Joe Flacco (Bal - QB)
14. (165) Nick Folk (NYJ - K)
15. (172) Andrew Hawkins (Cle - WR)

Recap
Draft Results
Led by a Quality Group of RBs, Zombo's Top Dawgs Is a Team to Keep an Eye On
Draft Summary
It doesn't matter how you get to the playoffs, it only matters that you get there. Zombo's Top Dawgs is a squad built to get there and is projected to finish fourth in Browns Board IV League with a record of 9-5-0 (1,731 points). They used a conservative plan early to fill out their lineup, selecting QB Peyton Manning (45th overall), RBs Jamaal Charles (4th) and LeSean McCoy (21st), and WRs T.Y. Hilton (28th) and Brandon Marshall (52nd). They landed the best group of RBs in the league, as they added Charles, McCoy, and C.J. Spiller to the team.
Not bad, but you've still got room for improvement. Becoming a Toyota Hall Of Famer would certainly qualify. Nominate yourself now.
Schedule
Zombo's Top Dawgs should use Week 9 to finally read War and Peace. Anything that isn't following their fantasy football team. They have three players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the entire season, they have a softer-than-average slate. Along with the fifth-easiest overall schedule, both the first four games and last four games of the season are about league-average difficulty for Zombo's Top Dawgs.
Draft Notes
Stockpiling Talent at RB
Zombo's Top Dawgs should be in good shape with three position groups projected to be better-than-average. RB is definitely the strongest among them.
Afraid to Step Outside Your Comfort Zone?
With six "low-risk" players among their 15 picks, Zombo's Top Dawgs is looking for dependable help.
A Pair of Proven Winners
Zombo's Top Dawgs has a couple of fantasy MVPs in their lineup. Last season, two of their players (T.Y. Hilton and Peyton Manning) finished among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy teams.
My One and Only
Ignoring roster depth, Zombo's Top Dawgs chose only one player at three different positions (TE, DEF, and K).
Zombo's Top Dawgs Went All YOLO Here
Grabbing Andrew Hawkins at pick 172 was just a bit of a stretch. Hawkins is owned on only a few rosters across all Yahoo! leagues.
Player Analysis
Jamaal Charles, RB
Round 1, Pick 4
A Versatile Combination
Jamaal Charles can hurt opponents with his hands as well as his feet. He ranks fifth among RBs with 459 projected receiving yards.
LeSean McCoy, RB
Round 2, Pick 21
Old Fashioned
Zombo's Top Dawgs stuck to the tried-and-true fantasy strategy of going RB-RB to start the draft, taking Jamaal Charles and LeSean McCoy before targeting other positions.
Peyton Manning, QB
Round 4, Pick 45
Like a Prancing Unicorn
Peyton Manning is a fantasy dream. He's predicted to finish second in the NFL in passing TDs and fourth in passing yards.
Sammy Watkins, WR
Round 6, Pick 69
Super Sammy
Watkins was just 18 yards shy from being the fourth rookie WR to notch 1,000 receiving yards last season (Beckham, Evans, Benjamin).
C.J. Spiller, RB
Round 7, Pick 76

Did modesty prevent you from posting the entire summary?

There are principles and ethics in fantasy football?? Damn I must have missed that memo!! I would draft the devil himself if he is statistically superior at his position :)

Last year, my first Fantasy foray, I refused to draft a single Steeler, Raven or Bengal...

Swore off ever doing that again by Week 4...
