Here is some trivia, mainly regarding Quarterback statistics:

 

 

1. Who is the NFL leader for most average yards passing per game in a career? (min. 1500 atts.)

 

 

2. Who has the record for most average yards passing per game in a single season?

 

 

3. Who is the career leader for most average yards passing per game in the postseason?

 

 

4. Who is the only QB in Browns history to lead the NFL in average passing yards per game in a season?

I am not sure why I bother anymore. Here are the answers.

 

 

1. Who is the NFL leader for most average yards passing per game in a career? (min. 1500 atts.)

Matt Stafford with a 286.2 ypg career average. Brees then Peyton follow him. FYI, George Blanda HOF only has a 79.2 ypg avg.

 

 

2. Who has the record for most average yards passing per game in a single season?

Peyton in 2013 and Brees in 2011 have the exact same ypg avg. record for a season. 342.3 ypg

 

3. Who is the career leader for most average yards passing per game in the postseason?

Uhh, Kelly Holcomb. 429.0 ypg. Yes, you are eligible with only 1 postseason game.

 

 

4. Who is the only QB in Browns history to lead the NFL in average passing yards per game in a season?

Otto Graham led the NFL in ypg avg. in both 1952 and 1953. He also led the AAFC three times in this category.

 

 

5. Who is the NFL career leader for most average passes completed in a game?

Also Matt Stafford with 24.3 completions per game in his career.

 

 

6. Which QB has the highest completion percentage in a single year in the playoffs?

Joe Montana. In 1989 he completed 78.3% of his postseason passes. And this was in at least 3 games as the 49er won the SB that year.

 

 

7. Which QB has the highest completion percentage in the playoff in a career?

Matt Schaub. Yep. 70.8%. Montana and Brady only have lie 62% for their postseason careers.

Colt McCoy is #2 all time with 70.33%. Brandon Weeden was #5 with 69.54%. Johnny Manziel was #9 with 68.95%

Ty Detmer. Who is #6 all time. Here are the names of the all time TD passing leaders besides Ty: Case Keesum, Kellen Moore, Graham Harrell, Colt Brennan, Landry Jones, Aaron Murray, Timmy Chang, Matt Barkley, Tim Rattay. (so note...success in college obviously does not translate to success in the Pros.

Russell Wilson 191.78 for Wisconsin in 2011.

The ONLY guy...just the one....is Tony Dorsett, who is #2 overall. (Ron Dayne is #1). #28 Thurman Thomas, #30 Marcus Allen, and #51 Eric Dickerson are in.

 

 

13. Which of the following Ohio State Players had more career rushing TDs than Two Time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin:

The answer is: ALL of them.

In this order: Pete Johnson 56, Byars 46, George 44, Hyde 37, Henson 36, Spencer 36, Schlichter 35, Otis 34. Archie only scored 26 TDs in his OSU career.

Michael Vick 11.35 ypa.

Clearly I put in a lot of effort learning about football. I report more data and hard knowledge on football than anyone you have ever encountered I would wager. I care about football and its history, and I study it.

You are the one that spouts nothing but rhetoric, if by rhetoric one means "talking about things one has no knowledge or evidence of".

I mean, You cannot even remember that you engaged in a lengthy conversation just a couple of weeks ago.

You don't even know what you yourself have said.
