Who's your guy?

  1. 1. Obviously CC is a given, but which of the other four do you believe will be the biggest overall contributor to the team?

    • (114) Ricardo Louis, WR, Auburn
      4
    • (138) Seth Devalve, WR/TE, Princeton
      3
    • (154) Jordan Payton, WR, UCLA
      13
    • (172) Rashard Higgins, WR, Colorado State
      14
  2. 2. How many [total] yards will Corey Coleman have during his rookie campaign?

    • < 499
      3
    • 500 - 749
      10
    • 750 - 999
      15
    • 1000 +
      6
  3. 3. in the past, HC Hue likes to use TE's as receivers. Will Gary Barnidge's production go up or down in 2016?

    • Yardage Increases
      12
    • Yardage Declines
      16
    • Touchdowns Increase
      8
    • Touchdowns Decline
      8
    • Sadly, I predict he will get hurt, traded, or cut

i really like the philosophy of "the more shots on goal, the more chances to score". hopefully Sashi-Podesta-Berry are onto something.

so...who's your early pick of who makes the team and contributes the most?

I like Payton, leaning Higgins, unfamiliar with Louis, and intrigued by Devalve.

i'm going Higgins I guess, but hoping for all. no disrespect to Hawk, Hart, Gabe, Jennings, Moore, Pryor, et al...

Come on now, all 5 without ever playing a down in the NFL are far superior to the munchkins we employ. What a joke Ray Farmer was to us.

I think that Gordon remains on the team and is the Number 1.

Then I think that Coleman is a player that many compare to Benjamin but he's a totally different type of player. I think he brings an element to the offense that we have yet to see. Coleman is the number 2.

Now I think that Ricardo Louis is going to be Benjamin's replacement.

Jordan Payton is Hartline's replacement.

Higgins is Hawkins and Gabriel's replacement.

How I think it will look in Game 1.

1-Gordon

2-Pryor

3-Coleman

4-Payton

Louis, Higgins, Hartline, Hawkins are backups.

Weapons, weapons, weapons.

if justifiable i'd absolutely love that lineup PG, i think we all would.

if Flash comes back i predict we are gonna be really, really competitive. but the team is clearly planning to keep on rolling if he is not awarded reinstatement.

being familiar with your posting here i would guess you probably voted Corey Coleman will have over 1000 yards.

as a projected number 3 that would be truly unbelievable...but absolutely welcome nonetheless. tell me i'm wrong haha. fwiw i voted over 1,000 as well.

Haha, yeah I've got him at over 1000. Good call. That's only 10 times down the field. The defense will have there work cut out for them if Gordon comes back. I think that Gordon and Pryor pull a lot of coverage outside which allows Coleman space to work and he's explosive.

If the other teams #1 CB is covering Gordon. There #2 is on Pryor... They are going to have to put their #3 on Coleman, that's a mistake. Coleman can't be covered by Linebackers or Safeties... what a nightmare for defenses.

When RG3 was healthy he used the tight end more than receivers as I recall. Niles Paul and Jordan Reed along with Deshaun Jackson when they were healthy. Barnidge and Coleman should be the two top receivers.

Speaking of Ray Farmer he's been on NFL Network all day. Giving his expert opinion to Casserly and Dan Siciliano. Love it!

On paper it always sounds like a nightmare. Until you realize there's more to scaring defenses then just the receivers themselves.

On top of that, you're talking about Gordon, a guy that hasn't played in well over a year. When he last did had zero idea what was being asked of him and still has a long ways to go on the mental aspect of digesting defenses on the run (literally).

Pryor is a giant work in progress, although physically just as gifted as Gordon.

Coleman is... you guessed it. He just has burst and a top gear the others don't have. He'll still need a great deal of time to work on his feet and then being relied on as a pass catcher first and the YAC master second.

Temper yourself, grasshoppa.

Pryor as #2 is a tad on the wishful side...

Using all my "wishfulness" on Gordon...

That was amusing.... but I could not muster the patience to stick until they got to discussing the Browns' draft.

Cool little nugget on the WRs we drafted..

The analytic guys seen to love these 3 guys. And for what it's worth Matt Waldman (who loves Jordan Payton) claimed Wilson would be the best QB in the 2012 draft at the time.. also said Odell would be an elite receiver. So what he says holds weight

More likely Pinocchio comes to life and plays for us than that combination (If you wish upon a star). ^_^

As to Farmer I was hoping they would say, "So the Browns took 5 wide receivers including their #1. What the fuck were you thinking Ray?" but (If you wish upon a star) didn't happen. LOL!

Well what does he say about Kessler?

Here's an article.. Long but a great read.

Overall he really likes kessler's smarts and ability to diagnose a pick apart a defense as well as his great ability to operate in the pocket. Says he doesn't have the strongest arm but is strong enough.
